NYX PROFESSIONAL MAKEUP Dream Catcher Palette

I really wanted to like this addition to NYX -- saw it at Target a few times and fell in love with the name of it, Dream Catcher... sigh... sounds so heavenly. I bought it here on Amazon because I was a buying spree and was trying a couple other NYX products and said... oh, why not.But alas, the colors are not very blend able. Don't bother using good brushes to put this stuff on. Use the little spongey applicator that comes inside the set. The top part of the palette slides to the right, revealing mirror and sponge applicator inside.The best I could do was use the NYX Eye Shadow Base in white and put Dream Catcher color on from there. Using the sponge only, I have worn the browns, purple & pink. It was mandatory to supplement higher pigmented eye shadow with this product. About half of the shadows are shimmer and glitter -- which I cannot stand. It gets all over my face, even in my eyes, which is irritating.It's unfortunate that the white is useless as a highlighter for the brow. :(.

This is my go-to eye shadow pallet. The colors are well pigmented without any shimmer or glossy feeling. I have yet to have one of these colors crease on me. The colors range from white to light browns to dark browns to black. There is a pink thrown in the mix along with a gold that really add the finishing touches on a smokey eye. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a good quality basic palette.

When I received this palette, a few of the colors were slightly damaged in shipping. I was fine with this as I expected something like that could happen.I bought this palette specifically because I loved the purple shade in the picture. Upon receiving it, the purple shade is MUCH less vibrant than the displayed image. It is a huge disappointment to me.

This palette is gorgeous, I love all the warm colours in this palette. I used it right away. The colours did blend nicely. It arrived sooner then I expected and in perfect condition.

My sister knew me perfectly, and while I planned to keep this palette, she gave me this one a week before Christmas. The colors are beautiful and so pigmented for a 15 dollar palette. I regifted BOTH palettes, because I figured I didn't need them, seeing how much makeup I already have. anyway, I love NYX and hope to buy from them soon.

Seemed to be fake. I purchased this as a gift for someone, this didn't seem to be the real palette. Im a little disappointed.

I think this palette is beautiful! The shades are smooth, super blendable, and just all around perfect! The reason I have given this product a 4 star review is because the "free" shipping took nearly 2 weeks; which was so ridiculous--I would've rather paid a couple dollars extra to get it within a couple days! However, the price for the quality is terrific! I think the packaging is gorgeous as well! I love the little hidden mirror & brush compartment as well, that makes this palette so unique from all of the others out there! I highly recommend it!

Bought this eyeshadow even though 80% of the reviews said their’s came broken. I thought “well that wouldn’t happen with my delivery” and ordered it anyway. Well sure enough, mine came broken. Of course it was the darkest color that broke and somehow managed to come out of the case and get ALL OVER everything else in my box that I had ordered. So disappointed.
