Works as advertised
Very easy to use, one side takes 3 bare 20awg wires (keep in mind that smaller gauges may fall out), and the other clamps down onto the copper pads of the LED strip. Cheap, easy solution for those of us not skilled in soldering

Hassle free adapter
I have not used these adapters for long, but they have so far exceeded expectations both in ease of installation and strength against tugging and pulling. Installation was easy using 22awg silicone STRAND wire. I think it won’t work as well with solid core. Easier to use a lower pixel/meter strip, they give you more room on the copper pads. Regardless, you will need to aim the strip precisely on the adapter to make sure their is connection with adapter spike and copper pad. Leave wire unstripped, the adapter spike will punch through the wire coating and hopefully imbed itself in the coiled wire. The adapter also uses the wire coating to hold the wire in, so be sure the coating isn’t too hard.

Works well with indoor strips.
I intended to use these fasteners on IP67 outdoor LED strips and they worked fine and pierced the silicon with no problems. I did have an issue when I moved the strips to make adjustments in their placement. They grab onto wires and strips very well but the closures can pop open when moved. Ensure your placement and use care when moving.

Image shows light strip -to- wire connection... but shouldn't.
it's easy to push the copper lands of the light-strip past the "teeth" of the connector. no biggy. Just be careful. However, the images include a photo of the connector being used to connect wiring to the light strip. and this may be theoretically possible but practically impossible. There is nothing to keep the wiring aligned with the pins as you close the gates. And you have to keep three wires aligned. Good luck. This purchase was to make connections more reliable for high-school students that need to do this frequently. Soldering is still easier and better.
