Abundance -
I only planted 3 seeds for this season . All germinated and producing peppers. Cant wait to pickle and eat these !

These seeds are not viable
not one of these seeds germinated. I grow a variety of plants and have very good success, but all the seeds I recieved did not germinate even after soaking them in water for a few days and planting in moist soil, keeping an eye on them indoors. I just threw some money out of the window..........

Excellent customer service and speedy delivery.
This is the now the fourth or fifth pack of seeds I've purchased from Sherwood. They are averagely priced and well packed. All packs of seeds arrived on time with the exception of one- which was due to USPS and not their fault. Even then, the last pack still found its way to the mailbox. Customer service when dealing with this issue couldn't have been better. I will continue to buy from them and I would recommend anyone to do the same! 10/10 all around! Will post update on germination rate when I've got everything in cell packs on a heating mat and under lights!

Growing nicely
Growing nicely! I had a 70% yield, which is not great. But they are growing now and exceeding expectations

only 6 seeds in the packet I received
Expected a lot more than 6. Sounds like the company is pretty inconsistent about quantity. 5 of the 6 sprouted and all 5 plants made it into our garden and produced fruit. The peppers were fine, but the plants were small and all told there was enough fruit to make about 1 jar's worth of the pickled kind we import from Spain. It's a value only if you ascribe $0 to your time and effort to plant and grow them.

Worked for me
I have the same seeds from 2024 and they still sprouted fine and I have a healthy plant. I only had minor blossom rot on a one of the peppers. I added bone meal slurry to the pot and the rest seems to grow fine. Tones of large peppers in the first harvest. Bunch more growing on the plant. Produces a lot over a long season, even in the heat.

Bad Seeds, Don’t Buy
Do not buy! 1 of 12 seeds sprouted. Inside the shipping packet a message from Sherwood’s Seeds said contact them if you had any trouble. They didn’t want a bad review. Well, the URL didn’t work so I hunted down the company, Sherwood’s Seeds in Levittown, PA, and their website and sent to messages regarding the seeds. No response over a weeks time.
