Works perfect for no more that 3-4 months. Then it goes bad. Excellent light tho! Now I have to change all four! Do not buy. GO to Home Depot instead.

Love the style! Perfect match for my house! Also, the flat light cover makes it look nicer! I hate the ones with rounded plastic covers - they look 1990’s! This one is perfect and my hubby had no issues installing with the instructions! Very functional and good power when on! Keeps room cool and it is right by our slider between our kitchen and FR. No noise at all when on!

I was worried about some reviews saying plastic and it being a hard install. But please don't let that stop you. This fan is great. I ended up buying 5 more for my home. Yes it's plastic but its thick and looks good, feels more like abs car type plastics. It's sturdy and doesn't look cheap. The receiver is a little large and that makes install slightly more difficult but seriously it took maybe 10-15 minutes to hang it and wire, and I even had some weird wiring set ups. The fan can blow very hard while remaining relatively silent. It is impressive. The 'natural wind' mode is a surprisingly nice feature. Many people have complimented that it is relaxing in a way you listen to wind in the forest. Only downside is it does not remember the light temperature when you turn the power off to it.
