Fun project
I bought this for a Japanese-themed birthday party for an 8-year old.The kids had fun using markers to paint their fish. Afterward, we hung them all up to dry and it looked so lovely! It was easy to use and fun to make!

Wonderful time saver.
Preschool teacher here. I have always cut my own out from tissue paper for my students but when I scrolled past this I had to see if it was worth it. It was! Saved me so much time and children loved watercolor painting them. I recommend supervising younger children painting them to prevent therm from accidentally tearing them. The tearing has nothing to do with the product, it is super thick, it is more with the energetically rough painters.

It was easy, and fun
This worked well for the Asian festival for kids that we had. It was easy, and fun. A little messy with the spray bottle on the ink, but just need a good drying place for them. Best to dry lying flat, not hanging. When you hang them to dry, they curl up a bit.

Well made and sweet. For inside not outside
We used sharpies first. Then I had cups filled with liquid water color only slightly diluted with water. Using eye droppers we dropped carp "spots" onto the paper. When itbdried we added the mouth but did not bother to seal the two sides together. The were flowy and pretty. These samples were made by 6/7 year old 1st graders.

Great craft
This was a great craft to do. We are studying Japan in my high school Life Skills class. I had purchased bleeding tissue paper for a different project. It worked perfect with this one. The colors bleeds into each other.

Fun & Easy to Paint!
Ordered these to decorate our patio for the July 4th holiday. Painted them with watered down acrylic paint. Wet the paper fish first. Excellent results!

My Students LOVED these
The Japanese Carp Wind Socks came out beautiful. I used them with first-grade students. First, they used colored Sharpies to make designs, trace the scales, fins, and eyes. The students who put a sharpie color along the edge really liked how it turned out. The second step was to use Crayola markers to add color that will "bleed" out with water added. We laid them on plastic table clothes and sprayed water with dollar store bottles. We let them sit for 24 hours so the water would all be absorbed. The fish came out wonderfully! I would purchase these again.
