This hose is the bomb dot com.
Edit: 6/27/21 I came back to update my review, because the hose recently sprung a leak. The expandable hoses die immediately when this happens, as there's no pressure to keep them expanded. This means my hose lasted 2.5 years. I'm pretty OK with that/I've seldom had ANY hose last longer without issue. I live in Florida and the sun pretty much destroys anything outside pretty quickly. I used mine almost daily until it died....I love this hose. I've tried a number of "kink-free" hoses from the hardware store, and decided it's as fictitious as a free lunch. However, this guy REALLY doesn't kink, ever. The material is lightweight and expands quickly, which is almost creepy, it's like watching a snake come to life. The hardware is heavy metal and easy to use. Once the water empties from the hose, it shrinks back down to its diminutive size and lightness. Easy to store. I wish I'd had this a decade ago. Worth every penny.

Buyer Beware- Not a Hospaip Hose
I have purchased several expandable hoses over the years. Most lasted a couple of months, and I had basically given up on the technology as just being something that doesn't work. I saw the Hospaip hose on here last year, and the reviews were mostly good. It looked more heavy duty, and I decided to give these one last shot. It has been a great hose so far, Still working after a year, and no signs of any problems. I decided to order another, so I did. What they sent me was not a Hospaip hose. See the pics (and see the pics in their listing which show a Hospaip hose). The Hospaip hose has a heavy duty fitting, and it says Hospaip on it. The fitting on this is smaller, the on/off selector is plastic, and if you look inside the hose they are constructed differently. The other major noticeable difference is the thickness and construction of the hose itself. The Hospaip hose is much thicker, and the cover feels much more durable. Even the box is wrong. The hose you will get if you order from this listing is not a Hospaip, and it is not difficult to see it is a cheap imitation.

Quality product!
Sturdy cloth, but, like any other snake hose and not just this one, be very careful not to nick, tear, or puncture the hose. One little cut and the whole hose is ruined. It's not like you can patch it up like you can with a rubber one. So keep it out of the rose garden! I re-bought the same hose when this happened to me because, well, it's not the manufacturer's fault I was careless!

Poor execution
This thing is leaking like a sieve after 7 months of light use. As one other user stated, this is not a 50’ hose. I bought this to replace a cracked 50’ rubber hose, but I could barely stretch it to reach the same kiddie pool we’d filled with the rubber hose for months. It will stretch close to that distance, but it recoils 5-10’ as soon as you let go. The fabric snagged on everything (grass, bushes, paver driveway) and it soon started leaking. The idea of this hose is great, and it is indeed lightweight. I never had an issue with kinks either, but for the money I expected at least a year of use. 30-day warantee? Buyer beware.

Best ones out there
First thing that caught my eye was the brass fittings. Truly better than the cheap plastic ones out there. I have bought many of these hoses and they do end up breaking, whether it's the hose snapping or my last one had the brass fitting break in 2. I tell its alot of fun when they snap while in use lol. Still these are the best ones of the expandable hoses out there that I have personally bought and used. Perfect for small flower gardens or hosing off the patio. Great small and compact and its nice NOT to have a big hose to roll up or not having to purchase a bulky hose reel for extra money. Also and added bonus that this hose comes with many extra rubber washers. 4 stars until its gets more durable

LASTED ONLY ONE YEAR AND THEN COMPLETELY FAILED
Had high hopes for this hose and was, at first extremely pleased. As described, it is lightweight, expands when in use and contracts when the water is turned off, has good pressure unlike some other retractible hoses, and basically performed exactly as promoted and expected. Unfortunately, just one year after purchase and having not been subjected to heavy usage at all, the hose completely failed. The inner (rubber?) channel became separated from the outer fabric covering and the hose started to leak profusely and is no longer usable. For $30, I expected more than one year's usage. If the manufacturer or seller would like to send me a replacement, that would be nice. Meantime - if you are a potential buyer considering this one based on it's description, I would think twice and seek an alternative.

Great way to extend your water supply for the backyard without having to reel the hose in and out
Works exactly as advertised. Extends to about 50 feet although I have not measured it. Does not kink at all or get solid to the point of it being hard to move about. I got this in order to be able to connect it to my pressure washer since it had a shut-off valve. I have connected some quick disconnects to the male end in order to be able to switch back and forth with my pressure washer and garden hose sprayer. Looks like it has held up quite well and doesn't seem to have any leakage issues so far. Great and affordable hose that expands after it has water flow in it.

Great hose, but broken after only 10 weeks
The hose is great, light weight and looks good quality on the first glimps. The hose was broken (the inner tube got disconnected from the end piece) only after 10 weeks of average usage. After having contacted the seller, they informed me that I can only return the product with 30 days. They send me some videos, but they all were not helpful to resolve the problem. So I sat on a broken hose only after 10 weeks and had to buy a new one.
