Excellent Product - Great Price!
Excellent blow dryer! My sister is a master cosmetologist, and she always make sure I have the "best" hair tools :) However, the last Chi hair dryer I had went out after 13 months (the heating element just would not work one day), and they would not help me at all as it was just outside their 12 month warranty. I could not justify spending that much on a dryer every 13 months. I found a Hot Tools hair dryer I used for 4 years, and it's beginning to go out (at least I'm getting a warning, instead of waking up one day without a dryer!). So, began the shopping....For reference, I have medium length hair. Thick. Wavy, with frizzies.I saw the price with good reviews and decided to go for it... and I am so glad I did! It blows a lot of air, and at first I thought it maybe wasn't as "hot" as my Hot Tools dryer. However, it dries my hair as quick (if not quicker), than my previous dryer and leaves my hair a little shinier. I am very happy, but do be aware it will blow some air, quickly and with some force (which I consider a good thing!).The dryer is also on the heavier side. I am 30 and it's not a big deal to me (I like to think it's building muscles so I get a workout while drying my hair, but I'm probably not that lucky lol), but I know some have hand/wrist/arm issues and look for lighter weight dryers.Bottom line, if the weight isn't an issue, and you are looking for a dryer with some blowing power, I would highly recommend this dryer :)

Arrived broken
I would give this a worse rating, but I was able to return it with ease and the packaging was good. The attachments and price are what I was looking for, so if it had worked it would be five stars. If. I plugged it into multiple outlets, hit "reset" etc and it couldn't get it to turn on even once.

Ask 1875 Watts of what, then buy this hair dryer.
The rated wattage is shared by two components: the heating element and the fan motor. The motor is a complicated assembly with armature, rotor bearings and windings. The heating element is basically a piece of wire. When only the total wattage is listed you can't use this number to evaluate your purchase. Other hair dryers I have used directed more of the current through the heating element to compensate for a small motor with a small or low pitch fan. Cheaper that way. This one makes no compromises, seemingly built without any consideration of cost. Large, powerful motor, fantastic airflow, with very little heat it still dries quickly. The case and all the visible components are heavier gauge than absolutely required. In fact my only complaint is that the cord, fully insulated and 6' long takes up too much room in the drawer.

Hot to the touch
I've looked at many hair dryers, I have no idea if a professional dryer is truly better or not. I wouldn't say this is small or light enough for travel, seems to be well made, comes with normal attachments and has various heat/air settings. I like that I don't accidentally change settings while drying like my other one. It does put out some heat so need to either turn down the heat or keep it moving! I have very straight hair and always have those little fly-away hairs, after my first use didn't seem to have as many and hair feels smooth.Only con - end of barrel gets HOT so don't touch when done! Learned the hard way when putting away.

Didn't last a year
UPDATE: I'm knocking this down to 1 star, as the dryer didn't last even a year. About a month ago it started smelling a little like smoke, which I initially thought was just hair trapped in the coils. Then today started actually blowing smoke. Trashed. This hair dryer is fine, though I wouldn't say it was extraordinary in any way. It's louder than other dryers I've used, but doesn't seem to blow harder or dry my hair faster. When holding it, there's a continual cool draft coming from the dryer down my arm; it doesn't bother me, but I wonder if it's taking power away from actually drying. It's a little hefty, and the concentrator nozzle on mine pops off constantly. The switches are also in an odd place, but I guess I'm used to it now.Overall, a pretty good hair dyer.

I'm returning this hair dryer
Pros: Good airflow and heatCons: Everything else! The hair dryer is much too heavy to use comfortably. The handle is way to thick for a female hand to grip. Both of the attachments fall off every time you lay the dryer down. If you are like me and trying to blow dry curly hair straight, it takes brush work, and drying in sections. You lay down the dryer, get the section into the brush, pick up the dryer and boom the attachment falls off.Bottom line: I'm returning it.

Love it!
This is a fabulous hair dryer! It puts out great heat and power and dries thick hair faster than many of the drug store hair dryers I've owned. It has several different settings for both heat and air blowing strength which makes it perfect to blow dry a toddler's thick hair quickly without the heat being to high. I have not used the attachments but they seem like they are great quality. There is also an super long cord which is great because it makes it so much easier to blow dry a little person's hair.

Excellent Powerful Blow Dryer for Great Price!
I just purchased this blow dryer and it's AWESOME! I had a Conair dryer but they don't make them anymore and I was really trying to find an inexpensive blow dryer that relied on more air than heat to dry my hair. This dryer does that!! The air pressure is INCREDIBLE! The sleeker design of the nozzle makes the air flow so much more powerful! The more air to dry the hair the less frizz you end up with...I know cuz my hair can get very frizzy! Try this blow dryer...you won't be disappointed!! LOVE IT!!
