Great shoes!
My son LOVES these shoes! They have very bright LED lights in the front like headlights and over the velcro band in red, white and blue like a police car top light bar. No skid soles and the best part is that there is an on/off button for the lights. I can turn them off when he's not wearing them so everytime they get bumped it doesn't run the battery down. He likes being able to have the control to turn them on and off by himself too (although the button is hard for him to do on his own), and they are easy for my 3 year old to get on and off by himself!!!

Most I evers spent on childs shoes and the most disapointing.
My son really wanted these shoes but I was not sure, I finally caved in. I first noticed how heavy and bulky they were, then after about a month of light use the shoes on off button stopped working then a week later the lights would not turn off a couple days later the lights stopped working completely, I assume it was because they were on 24/7. The Velcro also wore out very quickly so when my son was running and playing they would unstrap and fall off or he would have to constantly stop and try and strap them! overall a horrible child's shoe, unless they never wear them and just look at the lights. I will never buy a sketchers shoe again!

WAY too small.
I'm actually really disappointed with these shoes. We were so excited for them and loved that they lit up. Unfortunately their "toddler size 5" is more like a toddler size 3.5, a 4 would be generous. It's wicked small and is nowhere near a 5. He couldn't even wear them because they are so small and are now just collecting dust. Maybe the next kid can wear them right when they are born.

Lights flash like police lights....so cool!
My boy loves police things and he loves these. The little lights come on when you walk or stomp your feet. The lights actually flash like police lights which is really cool. I am so impressed with them and wish they had them in my size.

Shoes stopped lighting up after a few weeks of wear :-(
I purchased these shoes for my 4 year old in February and he didn't start weraing them until mid March. After a few weeks one of the shoes stopped lighting up completely. My son is pretty upset that his police car shoes don't work anymore. I am disappointed and surprised since I have purchased Sketchers light-up shoes before and I had a pair that would light up for a good year or so. Given the price of these shoes, I expected a lot more. I have purchased light-up shoes from Target that worked longer. Unfortunately I am unable to return these due to them being purchased in February. If anyone knows if contacting the manufacturer about this is worth it, please let me know.

Great looking, nice fit, with a Bonus
Six months later the shoes are still going strong, no holes, rips and the sole is still in tack with daily wear. They have been completely covered in mud, washed in the bathtub and left to dry. The lights still work perfect. The big plus with these shoes the lights can be turned off, so no annoying light up in a dark theater, church, or while trying to focus at school. Very stylish.

Sturdy shoes!
Bought these for my 5yo and many months later they are still in good shape. The fit was true to size. They are very comfortable and sturdy. The toe lights on one shoe stopped working recently but my son doesn't care. He wore these shoes for most of the school year (for gym class too) and all summer so far. I am very pleased and would definitely recommend them.

Poor quality control
Basically it's ok, function well, general well made for just one not a pair!!!The problem is the quality, the liner toe is concave-convex and just happened on right shoe, the left shoe smooth and well made, my son so love this shoe and don't want me to return it. he said he can get over even not very comfort on right feet. I respect his decision and just keep this pair even though I feel unhappy.If you want buy it, try it in store, pick up a well made one, don't purchase on internet, you have no idea they send you a good one or bad one

great fun for 3 and 5 yo
Pros: Rugged, they look like they are going to last forever. Lights are very bright ( don't go to cinema with those).Cons: Had to return one pair because of light malfunction on one shoe, therefore one star less. Amazon replaced the pair in no time without fuss.Nice and useful present for boys.

these atrived half size smaller than i ordered
These arrived half size to small but still ok just won't fit very long as feet grow fast at age 6. Really sturdy lights great too.if your are ordering double check sizes
