Seems like a good piece of kit, I ordered it for my brother and his offgrid truck. He has lithium batteries and this isn’t the model for lithium so had to return.

As a serious overlander I am always in need to maintain my leisure batteries fully charge.This CTEK system allow me to charge my batteries via the alternator and the solar panel.Now I don’t have to worry about my refrigerator running out of juice. D we have plenty of battery left to charge our phones, tablets and laptops for a few days at the time with our even having to turn on the engine.Cons: not as easy to install as they insinuate. The manual could be better.

This allows the the alternator to charge the house batteries with full output after it has topped off the start battery. And when the solar is active it charges the house batteries at full output then charges the starter battery till it tops off. Much smarter and effecient than what was stock.

System was working real fine until recently. Started getting this error message the system starts alarming and the system shuts off even though the banks is reading 104%. Can I get some tech support please. The service manual does not have adequate information regarding same.

Excited to install this on my truck. Have a big overland trip coming up. Still in the planning process.
