This is a handy little step stool and sturdy enough for an adult to stand on, saves me having to get out a ladder to get to stuff on higher shelves in the cupboards. It folds flat for easy storage and it's light to carry around. I bought another to put upstairs.

This stool is extremely sturdy, of a good height for reaching items on the upper shelves in my kitchen, and folds compactly for storage. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Well made and easy to fold up and tuck out of the way when not in use. Never feels un-secure when on it.

It is very useful, however in my opinion, this will NOT hold #400. I don't need it to hold that much weight, but if you say it will....it better.Others have complemented about the stool breaking, and I can see that happening quit easily.I'm 6'4" and am #250 and I feel that is about as much weight as I would trust on it. It is stable, but I would not trust it to spend an extended amount of time on it...ie: painting trim, working overhead etc....That being said, I DO use it a lot as a stool to sit on while doing low projects due to my bad knees. Because of it being so light weight, and folding down to practically nothing, it is super easy to carry with me along with my tool bag to do projects around the house. I also use it while working in the vegetable garden as well. All in all for my needs using it more as a portable seat, it works very well. I would still be very suspicious of the Max. weight limit, and time will tell as to how it will hold up.

I have two of these. My young grand-kiddos have no problem using it.

I'm vertically challenged so reaching the tops of my kitchen cabinets is typically an acrobatic routine. Not anymore with this! It folds up easily, and stores anywhere! I even use it when I wash my car. I'm thinking of buying 2 more to keep in other rooms because it's just so useful.
