Why are so many of the individual packages in the large box unsealed, leaking, and stale?

An answer to that question I do not know. All of ours have been sealed and in good condition. I wouldn't eat or open any of them and return the whole shipment for another box or a refund. It's to bad because they are enjoyable little crackers. My wife and son both carry them to work.
