Works well
I like the fact that the recharge is a wire and plugged in rather than recharging a battery. Comfortable hold and retains charge long time. Works well for many uses! Happy with purchase. Would recommend and buy again!

Ryobi quality but sealed battery raises questions
The Ryobi 4V screwdriver is part of Ryobi's new line of (more) compact tools that are driven by a new battery system and associated charger. The screwdriver works great - even more powerful than anticipated. Takes standard 1/4" bits but only comes with 1 Philips and 1 flathead. The charger is tiny and has a non-standard connector. I really would have liked to see a USB-C connector. I know I will misplace or step on the charger - LOL! The battery is completely internal with no ability to change. This says to me that this tool may have a limited lifespan - remains to be seen for how long. With that said, it's a Ryobi and works well :)

Great for the job
Doesn't pivot! Just a heads up because lots of them do. I wanted that feature but somehow missed that this one doesn't. But so far, it's been a non-issue. For years I just got out one of my big ol' drills for minor jobs or just used a regular screwdriver. Now that I have the convenience of this I don't know why I didn't buy one years ago. Grab and go. I'll plug into the charger after every other use and so far it's never lost power on me. I changed all of the electrical outlets in the house in half the time if I had I used a screwdriver. My only complaint is that it doesn't have a slot to hold the bit and the there's two of them, one flathead one Phillip's rather than a single two-sided bit. In the outlet job mentioned above I was regularly switching bits back and forth and sometimes had to look twice to find the other bit wherever I'd placed it in the carpet. This is the worst thing that's ever happened in my life, screw driving or otherwise. But seriously, good for the price.
