This orange peel came exactly as I expected. The description said it was granulated, so I knew that it would be smaller chunks, and I am okay with that. It came fresh, very aromatic, and with a strong flavor. It was reasonably priced for the amount I purchased, and bright in color. I was hoping to find larger pieces that were not slices, but settled on this company for the price point, and because I was using this for a bitters tincture, I was not upset about the granulated size, and bought this even though it was not exactly what I was looking for. Overall, I am pleased with this and it worked for what I needed it to. I will be reordering this if I cannot find the larger chunks. I was in a hurry, and this worked great. Great for turning into a fine natural orange powder and adding to your DIY LMNT or other DIY electrolyte mix and baking. Its granular already but grind it further into a very fine powder in my coffee grinder first. The picture is of a portion of the powder I keep in this little jar. The company has a very good reputation.

I got this to flavor my baked goods. It takes a bit and is better if you let it soak/rehydrate for awhile in the batter, and provides a nice subtle orange flavor. I gave it 4 stars because I was hoping for a stronger flavor, but it’s nice. I think I’ll go back to using essential oils.

I use this in a few recipes, like Orange-Cranberry muffins, and in some orange sauces. Works well, and much less expensive than buying little jars, if you can find them, in the grocery store. Be SURE to place the peel into hot water or (better) heat the water and peel together in a microwave, and letting steep a little to release the flavor from the peel.
