２５年程前に衝動買いしたドイツ製V字スライサーを愛用していました。さすがに最近切れが悪くなり，同じ製品（Orijinal Borner V-Slicer）を探しておりました。このサイトで一番安く見つけ，リピート購入しました。切れ味は抜群。安全に関する機能はそのまま受け継がれています。旧モデルにはなかった2枚のカッター刃も新たに追加されています。これを使うと他のスライサーを使いたいと思いません。

切れ味は申し分なく、刃の入れ替えもとてもシンプルで簡単です。ほんとによく切れます。千切りやスライスは美しく簡単に切れます。 ただ、気を付けていたのに、うっかり指先を切ってしまいました。これ以降、慎重に使っています。 あと、わりと大きめなので、収納場所は確保しておいたほうがよいです。

初めて使うときコツが必要なようで、You Tubeを見てやっと使えました。 切れ味が続くとうれしいです。

ドイツ製ですばらしいかと思いましたが、キャベツの千切りは手で切るべきです

Excelente producto

Slices and juliennes well. Carrots are a little hard to get nice fine longish julienne from, but cucumber works well. Slices tomatoes, cucumbers and onions very finely and efficiently. Shreds cabbage well for coleslaw. Can even dice an onion if you make cross-cuts into it before hand. There are videos to show you what you can do with it. Not perfect, but very good and useful:)

Yes, it's sharp. I had 2 main objectives: thin slices of cucumber, onion, for sandwiches and as salads in sour cream & vinegar and thicker slices of potatoes for cooking in my grill. This slicer is perfect once you read the instruction booklet because the raised plastic instructions are hard to read. I had not been concerned with the julienne cutters until I read the tip to cross slice an onion and then run it thru the small julienne blade to make diced onion (and other items) which is great for salmon sandwiches. I found that placing the board flat, over a suitably sized plastic container, made the collection of the output much easier that tipping it and letting the slices drop on the counter top/cutting board. When slicing onions, make a slice, move the slicer back a half inch and make the next slice for easy separation, etc. The slicer makes consistently thick slices, so much easier than using a knife, especially when cutting the last half of an onion. Yes, I like onions, but the same applies to anything that you want sliced. The limits are 1/16" for the thin setting and 1/4" for the thick. Using a Breville Grill which I also bought on Amazon, I can cook the potatoes both sides at the same time for perfect results and having all slices the same thickness is very important - and the slicer does just that. I may even try slicing cabbage to make cole slaw. Since I've had this only a short while I can't comment on reliability. My only criticism is that the thick julienne cutter doesn't fit properly in the 'box', there's interference between the cutter and box but not the blades, so I'm not worried. Just be sure to keep everything where small children or 'clutsy' adults can't play and slice of some finger tips. I don't see the need for those special gloves, I use my unprotected hand/fingers until there's about 1" left to cut and then I use the hand guard to finish. The only tiny problem, if it really is a problem, is when slicing English cucumbers with the tiny tips which can't be sliced, they just tip over inside the guard and have to be pushed out using the plunger. OK, not a problem then. I've read other reviews from folks that have had some version of these V slicers for many years, I just wish I'd known about them before now, but late is better than never, I'm very happy to have this in my kitchen.
