Oakter Mini UPS for 12V WiFi Router Broadband Modem | Backup Upto 4 Hours 2x2000 mAh 14.8 Wh| WiFi UPS Power Backup During Power Cuts | UPS Broadband Modem | Current Surge & Deep Discharge Protection

I purchased the Oakter Mini UPS for my WiFi router, and I have been using it with my router (12V). It worked well for almost a year, providing useful backup during power cuts. One thing I really like is its compact and lightweight design. It doesn't take up much space and is easy to install/use with the router setup. However, after around one year of use, the battery backup completely stopped working. By the time I contacted Oakter regarding the issue, the 1-year warranty had already expired. I was expecting that I might have to purchase a new unit, but this is where I had a very good experience. Oakter offered to replace the unit completely free of cost, even though the warranty period was already over. I didn't even have to return the old UPS. They only asked me to cut the wire of the old unit and send them a photo for verification. There were no additional charges or complicated replacement process. The battery failure after one year was obviously disappointing, but I really appreciate that Oakter still helped me and provided a free replacement even after the warranty had expired. This kind of after-sales support is definitely a big positive. Overall, the product worked well for nearly a year, is compact and lightweight, and my experience with Oakter's after-sales support has been excellent. For me, their willingness to replace the product for free even after the warranty expired is a major positive point.

Returning Review: It worked for 3+ years and then started failing. Overall I had no issues until recently, bought it in June 2023 and now its Sept 2026. Now whenever there is power outage, it does not keep the router/modem powered up, also when power resumes it sometimes fails to bring the router back on. I guess its time to order another one.

I have been using the Oakter Mini UPS (12V) for around 2.5 years now with my JioFiber router. It worked like a charm all this while. We have a backup generator. So the time for which we have outage is typically limited. But this too would have been a problem if not for the router UPS. For the last one week or so, it was not providing any backup when power went off. When I reached Oakter support, after some questions and due diligence, even though it was well past the warranty period, they have offered to replace the router as a one off goodwill gesture. The replacement will be a new product but with no warranty. Now I am awaiting the replacement. Of course I am quite delighted with the support.

Been using this since 2022, usually functional for around 2 years before it starts having backup issues. This time around it had issues in 4 months, contacted customer support and they gracefully sent new product. Idk about how it compares to other products but pretty much worth it because of their support. Lasts 2-3 hours on full charge. Used with JioFiber and Airtel Black both.

Bought this UPS for my Wi-Fi router and it works as expected. The setup was simple, build quality is good, and it provides uninterrupted backup during power cuts. Very useful if you work from home or need your internet connection to stay online. Overall, happy with the purchase and would recommend it.
