Worked for me
The local pharmacy staff had never heard of it. This stuff doesn't smell nice and it burns a little, but it was well worth it for me. I picked up a ringworm infection, possibly from a mammogram machine that wasn't properly cleaned. Nothing cleared it up until I remembered this old timey product, which I had not seen since the 1960's. It worked then, and it worked this time, too. It seems somewhat costly, but all products for this condition are, and it's still cheaper and less invasive than oral medication from a doctor, which I certainly would have done soon if this had not worked so well. I hope the fact that it's out of stock at the moment is only temporary, even though I personally should not be needing more any time soon. It would be my first choice if I had ringworm again.

Good Stuff
Was turned on to Whitfield's Ointment years ago by my Dad.. It is hard to find nowdays, but it is the only thing that works for me.The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that this is a VERY small container. Much smaller than it looks in the picture. There is not a quantity printed on it that I can see, but the container is approximately 1 1/2 inches high and 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

I used Whitfield's ointment years ago for fungii control. I worked well back then. Recently, I tried it again and it would not clear up the problem. I was on my second jar when I gave up and went to the doctor for a cure. Some ingredient has changed in this product. I do not recommend this product as a result. Sad.

we had been trying to get rid of this fungus using OTC medicines for 2 months. Within 2 weeks, it was completely gone. Keep it on hand in case it comes back. Washed the area really well with non-bacteria soap, then dried the area, then applied peroxide, then used the Whitfield's ointment Double Strength. What a great product.

Not the 'Original'
This product was not the original Whitfield's I always used. It's ok, but I won't purchase it again. I wouldn't say don't buy it, but it just didn't provide the results I expected.

HELP BUT DID NOT CURE
I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT FOR A RING WORM, IT HELP BUT DID NOT CURE IT. IT BURN WHEN APPLIED, IT STOP THE ITCHING BUT DID NOT CURE IT.
