Meguiar's Professional C2100 Professional Detailing Clay Aggressive, 7oz

I had accidently gotten over spray from a stain project on my wife's white minivan. I thought I would be living outside in the dog house permanently after. With this clay bar and some elbow grease I was able to get the specks of stain off the paint without damaging the clear coat. I tried cheaper basic clay bars which didn't work. However this "aggressive" formula did the trick. Hope this review helps someone else stay out of trouble! Easy to use, just don't drop it in the dirt!

I wish I'd of known about claying a vehicle a long time ago. It was easy and the results were great. The clay was fresh and pliable. There's plenty of clay to do several vehicles is included in the jar. I used Meguiars aggressive clay with Meguiars Quick Detailer as a lubricant, which worked very well, and it's half the price of the lubricant they recommend using.

Does what it is supposed to do. I used the aggressive on my 2004 Xterra that I bough new and never did anything other than wash it somewhat infrequently. The truck has been stored outside for a few years while I was deployed so the paint was very neglected. Needless to say having never been clayed there was a lot of work to do. The Meguiar's took the finish down to a nice smooth start for the Ultimate compound that came next. Like other reviewers have said use plenty of spray detailer as this clay will grab very easily. I used nearly a whole bottle on my truck and was very aggressive but the clay never damaged the clear. After clay, compound, polish and two coats of Meguiar's Ultimate liquid wax you would not believe this truck was neglected as it was. This is a long process when done right but the results are worth it. Each can contains way more clay then you will need in a single application. I would say divide the brick into quarters, individually bag each quarter with a couple of squirts of detailer to keep the cay moist. Use one quarter to clay the body then the wheels if you have aluminum or chrome wheels. Never do the wheels first!

Amazing quality. This is pro mild. The one comes in kit is home owner mild. More like for new car. Stop now. Please understand every step. It’s very important and truly necessary. If you wear smarty pants then take it off because I speak my experience. Start this way. Two wash - Meguiar’s yellow wax soap Iron X - car pro Tar remover - Car Pro if needed. This clay bar, with lubricant. -Meguiar’s. Follow by (Try only mirror Glaze all line from Meguiar’s) Next is compound if needed Eraser-car pro Polish Eraser -Car pro Sealant Wax. Check my result. Don’t be fooled by Car Pro Ceramic coating. Yes I had that opportunity but thanks to a review where you must use all same product after follow up. Not worth it. Plus look my results. True and real deal. Wow effect if you follow these directions. Use masking tape blue to cover all rubber and plastic molding. Easy to take tape off. May all be well.

This stuff is expensive, but not as much as a paint job. I bought it to remove some black specs on a white car I bought used (not sure what it was, but it came off), and now it’s part of my car wash routine. I use this stuff right after washing & rinsing w/out any lube (just the wet car...and maybe my sweat) and it always picks up grime (even on my wife’s new ‘18 VW Atlas). I’m amazed how I’m getting brown grime off a freshly washed car that feels clean. It’s definitely a workout to go over a wet car, but that grime is only gonna get worse as it sits on the paint, so I figure it’ll avoid a future fine cut cleaner... I dunno how this compares to the generic claybars I’ve seen, but I trust the Meguiar’s brand (old school).

Amazing. This works like magic. I tried a cheaper one from eBay and it worked but it took a lot of elbow grease and too much time (one square foot took 20 minutes). The Maguiars Agressive Clay took seconds to clean the same amount and with little effort. I had an excessive amount of black catalyzed lacquer overspray on my vehicle - enough that it was difficult to see out the window - I now have a shiny, scratch free surface. This also works great to remove bugs from windows and chrome, dried on bugs "melt away." The body shop wanted $2300 to clean my vehicle, I did it myself and saved a LOT of money. The only cons: you can't use this on black plastic or rubber. Tip: The mfg. suggests a couple of products to use with the bar so it slides. Don't buy other cleaners to use with this, just use soapy water. Also, plan on a few hours to clean the whole vehicle to do a good job.

My 2007 car sets outside 24/7 summer and winter. The paint finish has gotten where it feels like sand paper even after and good wash and wax. It is almost imposable to remove all the wax and never do I get that nice shine and smooth feel. I thought I would give this product a try and sure glad I did. No, it will not take care of the marks those idiots in Wal-Mart parking lots can do to your car. It took me about 2 hours to Clay my car and WOW the finish is so smooth and now has that shine like it had 4 years ago. I then applied a good coat of Meg 26 and this baby looks Great. I have use many products over the years to get the clean finish, but this is the best I have ever used for the home do it your selfer that works!

I've been using Mother's Gold Clay Bar kit, and it's been good for most contaminant removal. I bought Meguiars after doing some research, and I must say it is outstanding. It removes more contaminants and does it quicker than Mother's by far. It is more expensive, but if you need to do a large panel or the whole car, Meguiars is the way to go because it saves you time and removes more crap that is stuck in your paint.
