These extra blades are a must have when purchasing the tire groover. Blades are strong and do their job. I have found that running the groover on a medium/high heat setting helps the blades last much longer. High heat cuts a little faster, but it makes the blades weak really fast.

So, they cut like butter for about 3 minutes and then they break or bend. I’ve done this before so I don’t believe it’s operator error. I went through almost a whole pack on 4 tires. WOW!!! I’ll probably look for another option next time. But they did cut good, until they didn’t.
