Seller's product title is: Camp Chef Wood Pellet Grills Replacement Meat ProbeBut, this is NOT a branded Camp Chef probe ... it is one produced for Schloss Grills. There are cheaper probes on Amazon that don't have misleading titles.The probe is also larger (probe diameter and length) than the oem Camp Chef probe. So, it may not work as well for smaller/thinner cuts of meat and is a little clunkier to use. But, functionally it works.

I have a camp cheff woodwind. The probes that came with the grill both failed within 6 months. These replacements seem to be working well. I have had them for a couple months now with now issues.

I have a Camp Chef smoker that is branded as Cabela's , and when I bought it, it did not come with the meat probe. I bought this specifically for the turkey I wanted to smoke for Thanksgiving, and it worked perfectly! The inside of my HUGE 50+ pound turkey was perfectly cooked! I am looking forward to using this for smoking roasts and other meats on my grill.

I bought these to keep on hand for spares. These look exactly like the original that came with my Camp Chef DLX pellet grill.

WORKS AS PROMISED, JUST COSTS WAY MORE THAN BELIEVE IT SHOULD, FITTINGS/TECHNOLOGY HAVE BEN AOURND FOR YEARS.... WHY SO MUCH ?

This temperature probe does not work on the Camp Chef pellet grill. The connector plug is different than the original and when this one is plugged in there is an error like when there is no external probe connected!

Probe plugs in fine but does not work for my camp chef pellet smoker. Purchased this a few months ago and just went to use it for the first time and got the “PRERR” error on the readout. Wish I had thought to test it when it arrived but was confident it would work given the description on this site.
