Great Sound
Great little speaker for my sunroom. Works great with Google. Love that it is a stereo speaker, not mono like Sonos. Plan on purchasing another on to use as true stereo sound (right / left channels).

Powerful little unit
I bought the RIVA as a multi-purpose portable speaker for digital music and video streaming. It sounds great, with deep bass ( though not to subwoofer ranges) and clear treble. Both are adjustable with the app, but not with the speaker button. Be sure to correctly pair RIVA with your devices, either with Bluetooth or wifi. If your home wifi network is weak, you’ll probably get some glitching at the edges of the range and when other devices compete for bandwidth. Battery life is great, but make sure your device pairings are right. If RIVA is not connected to AC power and is constantly searching for devices to pair with, battery will drain pretty quickly.

Smart hiqh quality speaker with unlimited connection possibilities
I bought this speaker as a replacement for my old Bose speaker mostly because of the connection possibilities. You can connect speaker using WiFi, Bluetooth, Airplay or directly stream Spotify or TuneIn. I have additional extra battery because I would occasionally like to carry speaker out. It should be splashproof, so do not worry when it starts to rain. Sound is clear and volume level is sufficient. Anyway, if you are looking for something to bring to a party, full bass experience, look elsewhere, this provides music as it is, no bass punch. I would say it is better than Sonos One because you can play directly via Bluetooth.

Good Sound if and when You can Get them to Work!
Took my cue from Rob Sabin of Sound and Vision and purchased two Riva Arenas with the rechargeable battery packs at a cost of over $600.00. Down loaded their app (ad infinitum), connected wifi, paired them again and again and sometimes, when the stars aligned, they worked. Called Riva to no avail, spoke with Crutchfield -who did their best- but at the end of the day these things have just sat on the shelf having exceeded their return date. Every now and then I try again and then just shake my head and walk away. Suggest you do the same.

Good sound, but shitty connection.
Sounds good, but very hard to operate - No power button, does not stay connected or reconnect easily. Overall I bought this for the sound, but Connectivity is really annoying. I hope the make a better version - I would buy it.
