Great question! Excellent award winning extra virgin olive oil! I would say that it is semi-unfiltered as there is some olive sediment and a bit of cloudiness but light.

The Frantoia Barbera Olive oil is a product of Sicily. Please confirm that the label is a Barbera Frantoia label. As many oils have a similar name of 'frantoio'. For more than four generations, the Barbera family of Palermo, Sicily has been meticulously selecting the finest olives available each year to produce an assortment of extra virgin olive oils. Barbera's Frantoia Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained from cold pressing the best quality Sicilian olives: biancolilla, nocellara, cerasuola originating in the surrounding areas of Partanna, Castelvetrano, Ribera, Sciacca and Trabia.
