Good labels.
Every bit as good as the roll of label tape that came with the label maker. It takes some work to peel them, even when you fold them down the middle like they tell you to, but that's just the nature of the beast. Once you get the hang of it, it's well worth it to have clear, black on white labels that stick well.

Love it
Works well, print quality is excellent, above expectation. Stickum on back of cartridge it ships with is good for temporary or never touched labels.. comes off a bit too easy.. There are stickier ones available however.. overall EXCELLENT product!

Good when arrives undamaged
I have purchased this twice to go with my DYMO model 16955 to label items in my kitchen. The first cartridge worked well on glass, plastic, metal water bottles, held up to occasional hand washing, and wasn't to much trouble to get the backing off (fold it in half the long way). It sticks well as long as you don't try to peel it off and put it back on, you get one chance. There is a bit of residue left behind upon removal but its easy enough to get off.The second cartridge arrived all smashed and wouldn't work with my label maker. Amazon refunded me. I am about to order for the 3rd time and hope that it is a repeat of experience one.

Backing is NOT hard to peel
I don't understand why some reviewers are complaining that the back is hard to peel. Yes it is a LITTLE harder to peel than the standard tape, but even without folding the tape in half it wasn't very difficult. The one problem with my lm160 labeler was that the labels would fall off of most surfaces, which basically made the labeler useless for most everything but file folders. Unless you wanted to cover the label with clear packing tape, which I sometimes did. This tape solves that problem and makes the lm160 the best handheld labeler on the market, IMHO. I only wish I discovered these permanent labels years ago.

Great Product!
I order these and use this product daily. It's always worked well and stays on the file folders after use.

Good stick - Bad peel
My big complaint about Dymo 1/2 inch labels in general is the standard labels don't stick well to anything but paper. They certainly cannot be used as flags for your audio or electrical cables. That's why I bought this model 16955 as soon as I heard about it. It uses very aggressive glue and is made from polyester. According to Dymo the 16955 resists heat, cold and even oil. Sounds great - right? The problem is the labels are next to impossible to separate from their backing. I'm talking difficult here. After reading others were experiencing the same problem, I called Dymo this morning to see what was going on. Others thought there might be counterfeit units being sold since these labels did not have the Dymo logo printed on the label backing as other models do. Plus you can't get them apart! The Dymo Rep assured me they are not printing their logo on the back of these labels and they are a "bit" difficult to separate from the backing [to say the least] The Rep told me to fold the label over from the back - like a hotdog bun - exposing the split down the middle of the backing and remove the backing from the split. Of course, this is the way I've always done it - but previously with ease. After working with a few more I've found it can be done, but it helps to maintain a few long sharp fingernails for the job.The good news is the glue is very strong and being made of polyester they are more flexible than the standard Dymo labels. But if you are just sticking them to manila file folders, you might want to stick (no pun intended) with the standard 45013 labels.
