Grower's Solution 38 Deep Cell Nursery Plug Tray-Tree Tube-Propagation/Seed Starting Tray - 5 Pack

Wish the material was a little more sturdy, but still perfect as larger/deeper seed-starting tray for tomatoes, which need deeper root space. I can start many seeds for my Dad's tomato garden in a very small space (he lives 3 hours away - easy to transport these trays). They fit many plants in limited grow light space as well. I just be careful with them and they work fine.

Decent product but have not used yet

These are great for growing fruit trees, but if you using these on the ground a tree's roots could easily root into the ground through the open bottom. Use a tray underneath to avoid this. I would love it this plastic was about 2 mil. thicker. It would greatly increase the reusability and value. Overall, pretty great product, and there isn't much that is competitive with this.

size as as a whole

The dimensions of these are great; they will allow for considerably more root growth than standard seedling trays. Unfortunately, the material is extremely thin and flimsy. I doubt I will get more than a season or two out of these. The high price and great reviews had me expecting something made of thicker, higher quality plastic. These are paper thin.

The top of the tray is solid. But the lower side of the plugs are very soft. Also, the plugs do not have bottom.This tray is good to grow tree seedlings because it is deep. But the soft bottom makes it less durable.

These are nice but my bottom ones are a little crushed. Was hoping for something more durable.
