Easy to install. I used Command large picture hanging strips rather than the screws that came with it. I used 3 strips, which was overkill! I use this light at my desk, and put it underneath the hutch, which doesn’t have an overhang. After I installed it while sitting at my desk, because the light was higher than my head, the light was shining in my eyes. I solved the problem by adding a 3” x 14” piece of thick paper to the front of the hutch. The paper is not near the light, but even so the light doesn’t throw any heat at all. The paper is thick enough to shield the light from my eyes, but doesn’t block the light altogether. I’m very happy with the results!

This light fits the spot I have but is NOT a bright, clear white. This light is the same color as one I bought that was “warm daylight” vs this “bright white” light. I bought this one specifically to replace the “warm daylight” that was too yellow. If you don’t mind the color, the light functions just fine which is why it gets 4 stars. It is very slim, low profile, bright enough, but off color! Arrived slightly before estimated delivery time. Decent price. Color not as described.

I used two of these to mount underneath cabinets in the laundry room-- but I installed and wired them as if they were the much more expensive wired LED lights. Excellent results, and can't beat the price. I purchased the 16 inch model.These come with two mounting screws and five foot white cords-- perfect for under our white cabinets. I tested the lights by plugging them in, then measured and installed the mounting screws underneath the cabinets. The challenge in any "hard-wired" lighting project is running the wire(s) and installing a switch, which I'm quite comfortable with. I changed our my single-gang box on the wall to a double, ran the wire over to the cabinets, and mounted a single box underneath the cabinets, well hidden.At that point all I had to do was mount the wires out of the way underneath the cabinet using decorator staples, clip off the power cord plugs and wire to the 14 gauge wire I'd run at the box. Neat, professional install at about 60% of the price of using "hard wired" units.If you'd rather simply plug these in and use the switch on the unit, that works well too. But taking the extra few hours to run a switch and hidden line makes for a more professional and convenient install. Nice lights-- sort of a warm white, plenty bright.

Perfect for lighting the counter under a narrow kitchen cabinet. It's very bright. We used double sided tape to mount it as that was much easier than messing with screws.

I was using a desk light, but have a shelf above. Finally people can see me clearly on meetings. The 22” fit perfectly and I opted to use two sided tape as opposed to screws. The best light for my purposes was pushing it all the way towards the wall. Wish it dimmed. But… is what it is. A solid strip light.
