Marginally effective
I bought these to use on my Case 580 backhoe. I found that the tips were too thick to fit in the snap rings without modification. After filing them down enough to fit the holes, the tips were weak. I got the job done, but am not real impressed with the tool.

Complete junk.
Do not buy. This is clearly made with the cheapest steel known to man. The arms bent immediately and the ratchet mechanism blew apart with a river shooting across the garage. Save your money, go and buy something that is better quality to finish your job. China got me again….

Have not used the pliers at this time. Construction seems to be adequate.

Great afordable kit. The tips are a little to thick for small clips but I gound them down to fit.

Thought I'd take a chance on these....guess I should have known better. Good news is, they are priced nearly as cheaply as they are made.
