This is an excellent product and I must recommend it to monitor and record temperature and humidity of ambient and cold room areas. It is too good for this price.

The temo and humidity readings are almost perfect. For the temperature it reads just like my room's thermostat. The humidity is coreect as well, I know that because the number given is reasonable and because one day someonekept the balcony door open and that affected the humidity readings, increasing the humidity almost immediately, which is proof that it's reading correctly.

It takes ages to give accurate readings!

Pairing the thermometer with my smartphone was a breeze, and I love how I can monitor the temperature in real-time when I am in the sitting room next to the sauna. When I fire up the wood stove in my sauna, the thermometer tracks the temperature rise, and I can easily check the app to watch the increase in temp without having to open the door. Data Logging: One of the standout features is the data logging capability. The thermometer records temperature data over time, which I can easily access and analyze through the app. This has been invaluable for tracking how long it takes to heat up the sauna as it is a new build. Even if I'm away for days, the thermometer keeps track of the temperature and updates the app when I reconnect Bluetooth Range: The Bluetooth connectivity is impressive, allowing me to stay connected even when I'm not in the same room. I also bought the UNNI indoor/outdoor thermometer, which I really like, and I thought I would return this Govee device, which doesn't give as much info and has no backlight. In the end, I like it so much I decided to keep it for another room. Great display, pretty small but very easy to read. It also looks great. I like the max/min function. Very easy to switch to celsius. And most important, after several tests, I found it to be extremely accurate, actually a lot more than the thermometers on my home thermostats. Please note it is not an "insta"-thermometer/hygrometer. If you move it to another room, it will take some time to settle down and give you the right temperature/humidity. Same when you receive it... Before trying to judge its accuracy, let it sit for a couple of hours, or even better overnight, without looking at it every minute. You'll then see that it is really accurate. I don't use a lot the app and bluetooth feature, but it does seem to work OK. Overall, another great device from Govee. I already had their smart plugs, which also work very well. I wish they would now make a device similar to the Unni indoor/outdoor thermometer. Oh and to the customer who said his "confort level indicator" doesn't work and gave 2 stars for this reason, I believe it's simply because his values are precisely not "confortable", as shown on his pictures (temperature 28.8C and humidity 42%). Govee says clearly in the manual that the indicator will display : DRY : Humidity <30% WET : Humidity >60% CONFORT : Humidity between 30% and 60% AND temperature between 20ºC and 26ºC Elsewise it will display NO ICON. Pretty logical after all. That's also why the confort indicator displays no icon on my pictures (temperature under 20ºC), but it does work just fine.

I bought this Govee hygrometer/thermometer to use as a backup monitor for my incubator after seeing it recommended by a woman on Facebook who shares a lot of helpful chicken and incubation content. So far I’ve been really happy with it. The readings seem accurate and reliable, which is especially important when incubating eggs. I also appreciated that it came with batteries included, so it was ready to use right away. The overall quality feels very solid and well made. My only reason for giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that it’s a little larger than I expected for use inside my incubator, but that’s more about my specific setup than the product itself. I think in between incubating I'll use it on my kitchen window which will be so nice to have.
