2.5 years later & its still working fine! I have replaced the battery once & the velcro 2x. My dog averages over 11 miles per day & as mentioned below is ACTIVE, swims, hikes, hunts. Great little productI didn't have high expectations for this product but thought it would be fun to see the active periods for my dog, particularly on the days I am going back into the office. I used the velcro to strap it on to his collar and figured it would fall off in a few weeks as he is very active, spends lots of time in water/swamps/mud including distance swimming as I kayak, is out in all weather, we hike, train for K9 work, etc. Over 4 months later including a long beach trip where he was in the sea for hours each day, it remains secured on his collar, it still works (even after all the swimming), distance tracking is fairly accurate (I have a GPS unit for his offleash work) and it improved with use.For the one-time fee this is a great product, it won't locate your dog (there is no gps) but it does function well as an activity tracker. It allows me to see his activity patterns and its fun to see his averages and 'big' days.Fun product that can stand up to a lot. My dog has certainly put it to the test and I sure didn't think it would still be functioning at this point

Had to have help from friendly customer service via email and had to uninstall and re-install once but now this activity tracker is working accurately and is very easy to use. Had trouble adding my dog in spite of many attempts over a weekend day but as soon as the work week started I heard back from customer service. If it is starting up correctly for the first time you should get the word Visible in the pack category on the add a dog screen and also recommend a goal should light up orange. From there you are ready to go. I like the app a lot. The info provided is presented in an interesting and very clear way. Includes the activity category "Pottering" which describes to a tea here on the west side of the pond what my dog is doing when he follows my every step while I clean, prepare meals, etc. I am looking forward to the day when the US customers get all the benefits available in the UK. I like this product and recommend it.

We have a little overweight Aussie and decided to try this to try and see how much activity she was getting on walks and trips to the dog park. So for first time results said she put in 2 miles with 10 minutes running, 15 of walking, and 5 of playing (not sure how that’s calculated). Said she burned 281 calories. We left sooner than we wanted as she didn’t like another dog that wanted to play.I got what I wanted, yes, there are options that I can’t use in the US but not sure I would use them anyway.Only issue I have so far is there was no instructions included so had to use the app to figure it out. It wasn’t the easiest to find, at least add an instructions tab on the site instead of just in the Help.

Doesn't work. Won't connect. Won't update. No instruction booklet.No instructions. Only setup is a walk-through in the app. No instructions when there is problems or something doesn't work correctly. No booklet that would say how to find a specific function, etc.Fetch data option is not where instructions say. Option locations not accurate.No instruction on how to start pairing mode.Doesn't see bluetooth connection.My dog doesn't care about badges.No option to remove dogs.No option to update dogs.Support slow to respond. They say can take up to 30 days.Update: Shipped with dead battery.Update: Tried another.This one does connect and usually syncs quickly. Data points on screen do not have describe what they mean.Step estimates are wildly inaccurate. App allows for an adjustment of up to 50% but at maximum adjustment it is still off about 50%. Says my dog walked 170 miles last month.I don't have the model with GPS but still requires location data to be turned on.

Bought in January, 4 month later battery was out. Replaced with new one, lasted a few days. Lost all data several times and had to replace battery several times.

We just tried this today, but I am disappointed. I did everything they said, only to find out after I followed the steps that most of the features only work in the UK. So if you live in the US it’s pretty worthless. I wish they would have said that in the sales info.

Missy is my 6yo, 15lb and 3lb overweight Doxie. She is a couch potato and has NO idea how to play. I have had her for 2 years.I started using this a couple of days ago. It is fun, easy to use and I see her personality purk up a bit. This alsoMotivates me to get her out. In our area, I have to carry bear spray!!

Love seeing how active my girl is and can compare how it correlates to her behavior.

Le produit est solide , le velcro tient bien (après deux mois d’usure) et les données sont facile à extraire. L’application fournie seulement activité, comme la compagnie est au UK les applications sont limitées. Je suis très satisfaite du produit malgré le prix un peu élevé pour ce qu’il offre.

I have a 6 year old rescue Bischon Frise who is overweight and when I first got her she really did not like going out for a walk. I've dithered about whether to buy this or not but now wish I had bought one for her earlier.As the app suggests I took vet's advice regarding her weight and setting up her exercise goals.Being a small dog the activity tracker is great in that it's lightweight and fastened simply by velcro. She hasn't scratched or fiddled with her collar so it's clear she's not bothered by wearing it. The tracker is also waterproof which is a must for our weather!The benefit for me as an owner was this was so straightforward to set up in a matter of minutes and that included me working out how to add her photo!To look at the data, you choose "Fetch Data" from the app menu and then press the orange paw on the PitPat. I have had no problems with connection.I really like how simple this is, that it motivates you to keep on track (and in her case not to overdo it) and the encouraging messages and badges of achievement make me smile and give you a boost to keep the activity levels right.It's clever in that a friend brought her dog over and it detected the amount of play she had with the other dog on this day.There's clearly more to come with the app as "Food" is being developed and at the moment you have the option to give your views.There is no subscription cost with this but there is an offer of joining PitPat Life at £3.99 per month for some benefits. I haven't done this, so I can't comment on the value v cost, as it's something I am considering.I think this is really going to help me keep her weight loss programme on track which for me is a healthier dog and a happier companion.Recommended.

Brauch man das? Nein.Aber da ich ein kleiner Technikfreak bin und selber mit einer Sportuhr herumlaufe, dachte ich, ich teste dieses hier mal für unseren Hund.Ich bin super zufrieden. ES funktioniert super simple und relativ genau. Es ist interessant zu sehen, was und wie lange der Hund gemacht hat.Es ist einfach eine nette Spielerei.Leider ist das Life Programm von der Firma nicht hier verfügbar. Aber ich hoffe, dass dies bald der Fall sein wird.Tolles Produkt und ein super cooles Gimmick! =)

El producto cumple lo prometido, aunque el precio es un poco elevado para las funcionalidades (no tiene ningún tipo de localización GPS). Tuve algunos problemas para sincronizarlo al teléfono (iPhone).
