Good stuff Maynard. Use for neuropathic pain. My AH’s fine. Takes a while to dry like all creams. Use a liquid spray when you’re in a hurry to move.

This has worked well for me. I notice that there are fairly few negative reviews and almost all of those talk about what I agree is an unusual color for a cream designed to ease pain and irriation in one's "anorectal" (their word, and an accurate one) area -- kind of like a butterscotch pudding rather than the more usual white cream or petroleum jelly "color" of my previous experience of pain relief creams or ointments for use in the same area as this cream is intended to be used in. And the smell is a bit odd but not unpleasant. Given where this product is used on one's body, and that the smell does not as far as I know "travel" (I don't notice it once it's been applied), nobody else but the user is likely to know what color it is, and what smell it has when still in the jar! All that matters to me is that it works, and now that I've read the reviews, I no longer have to worry about whether there's anything wrong with the product based on its color or smell.

I use it on my Erythromalagia feet that feel as though they are on fire off & on throughout the day & night. This cream helps some for short periods of time, but the relief doesn’t last very long, unfortunately.

It worked for me when most other similar products for itch didn't. I was getting desperate to get some sleep at night and tried it. A small amount rubbed on the area of itch gave relief in 10 minutes or so and lasted for about 3 hours. I am so pleased I can't really express it. I know it's supposed to be for another part of the body but I used it on my chest and it worked fine. I can recommend. They have a two pack on Amazon which will save you a little money once you find it helps you. Good luck. Zzzzzzzz.

This is a good pain reliever!

I purchased this specific brand of lidocaine cream to use based on the size of the product, the fact that it said “Made in USA”, and the listed ingredients sounded helpful for my specific needs and sounded somewhat natural. I try to not use a lot of chemical based skincare or products. I looked at many other lidocaine cream brands to compare before making this purchase and felt confident in selecting this particular brand over others available. I am not satisfied with this product at all and have wasted time and money. This did not have a sealed paper protection under the jar lid. That is unhygienic. Perhaps my jar slipped through quality control. In addition, it does not look fresh and there is no potency. I do not believe my cream has any lidocaine in it or if it does, it is a small amount or has expired or been overpowered/watered down by other ingredients/fillers. The product I received is yellow brown and rancid in appearance and has no numbing effect. The consistency is unpleasant to use. It is messy and gel-like. I was hoping for and expecting a thick white cream that could be scooped out and hold its form (similar to a thick plain Greek yogurt) until spread out/rubbed into the skin. Despite using Amazon Prime for this product, I am unable to return it or receive a refund. This cream was a complete waste of money and is unusable. I request to receive a full refund for this item please. I do not recommend this product.

This product works OK but very expensive. You can get similar result with a 4% cream for a lot less money.
