Works well. Exactly like it’s described.

I installed this, and the Lock button and light switch and garage door opener worked fine. However, when I put it into automatic mode, where the motion detector should turn on when there's motion (or body heat in reality), then the light was always going on. After 5 minutes it would go off, and then within a few seconds go back on. My garage temperature is pretty normal (about 60F). I've returned it and am getting a replacement. Hoping it works.

I love love love this gadget. I used to hate walking into the garage and by method of touching wall in the dark try and find light switch. Now, i don't have to do that anymore! This little thing detects your presence and once you open the door it turns the light on! How cool is that?! It works just a regular garage opener, very easy to attach to the wall and comes with this little extra feature of turning lights on for you so you don't have to walk in the dark. I definitely recommend it.

This is great for what it is. It doesn't have a fancy display or anything. The big white area is a large garage door opening button. The only issue I found is that the light sensor is too sensitive for when I'm trying to shut the lights off. It would be nice if it had a delay between when you touch it and when the motion will re-activate it. Often I will hit the light button and it will immediately turn back on, sensing my hand moving away from the control panel. Overall, it's great.

Easy to install, and it works perfectly with my circa 1995 Craftsman opener. Giant lit button for open/close, though with the motion sensor, not really needed. I actually like this one better than the stock motion sensor control that came with my battery backup opener. As noted before, watch those plastic clips when removing the cover to install. a gentle press with a small screwdriver is all that is needed. Great product at a great price.

I have a Chamberlain HD920EV garage door opener installed by a service in 2013. Last week of September 2017 the motion sensor light control failed (part 41A7327-1) for motion sense only . The open control and manual on/off light control both still worked. So, I ordered this new unit which was clearly stated to work with Chamberlain units manufactured after 1999. Mine clearly was. I installed this new unit and the green "active" lights came on . However, none of the "open door" , "light control" or "lock" push pads activated anything, regardless of where the side "auto/off" switch was placed. Clearly the unit is defective as I re-installed my "everything worked but the motion sensor" and everything except...still worked. ugh. I just tried connecting it with short white/red wires to the opener itself and still same result. Defective .
