Bought this toaster to replace an older four slice toaster.Bit sceptical to start with, the instructions are not clear, especially the egg boiler.However after a bit of investigation and referring back to the item listing on Amazon, I was able to figure it out.The toaster has many different options and does toast the bread quickly. However the slots for the bread won't, like most toasters, accommodate the larger, or more unusual slices of bread.Also another negative is the cable is really short.However it has lots of options and does work.It's also not clear from the instructions if the boiling plate will turn off when the water has steamed away. I can confirm it's does.But... It will turn back on once the plate has cooled down. I once left the toaster heating and cooling for 6 hours, not knowing I had to physically turn it off.If anyone wants to know the water levels to boil and egg, please find it here for your convenience. Could not find it in the manual.Hard egg: Water level of fully cooked eggs: 80~90ml; cook eggs until thermostat jumps Medium egg: Water level of medium egg: 60ml Soft egg: Water level of soft egg: 45~50ml

I love this toaster! We got him for the caravan. We have little space and therefore have to see what we do. The toaster combines for us the classic toaster with the egg cooker, which saves the opening of the hob, cooking eggs on the gas plate ...At first I was skeptical because of the high price for a toaster but it's worth every penny. We have already done 3 camping trips with it and I do not want to miss the toaster anymore. Fried egg (with a little oil in the pans) works great, scrambled eggs too, cooking eggs takes a little longer than normal but is also good. The pans can be taken out and thus easy to clean.One may apologize for the grease stains on the stainless steel in the photos but it will be used :-)I can, just for campers,recommend the device, 5 star +!

I loved the idea of this toaster but in reality it's not as good as it looks. So it cooks toast. But one side always cooks a little more than the other. Large pieces of bread won't fit in properly. But it works. As far as the other side goes its hit and miss. Using the steamer to make boiled eggs works fine. I haven't tried poaching an egg so can't comment on that. But as far as the frying goes its a waste of time in my opinion. There is only one heat setting on or off. So it heats up so quickly and gets so hot eggs just stick to the bottom. You are left juggling the heat switch on and off. Twice I've used it to fry an egg now i don't bother. They just stick to the bottom regardless even when using a load of oil. Then you have to try and clean the thing. You can remove it and clean it in the sink but you are left trying to scape it all off. It's certainly not non stick. I would just stick with buying a top rated toaster which can fit large bread in and cooks evenly. Then cook your eggs the conventional way!

Firstly this machine is a good toaster albeit not for massive pieces of bread. Have only used the poaching eggs part and agree with other reviewers that if you follow the instructions it will be fine especially using room temperature eggs. For the price paid I am happy with the purchase. In reality the egg part of the machine is like the toaster part - you have to use it to find out the perfect settings/timings for your taste. Looks good on the bench and doesn't take up much space.

This replaced one we have had for some years but the plastic lid disintegrated and no spare available. This is different make and is far superior.Works well on all fronts and good quality.Update on above.This now appears to have a problem and there is an electrical smell coming from it. The Teflon has also bubbled up from the tray. Now afraid to use it. Needs to be returned under warranty. Contact with company so far none.

First thing... I din't need a new toaster although I wasn't happy with the quality of the toast from my Breville from the day I bought it 3 years ago. I bought this because I thought it looked like a cool gadget, that's it!Thing is, the toast is good and the gadget is fantastic with one exception. It's basically a mini frying pan that you can either use to fry or you can put water in to steam items above it.I use it regularly to steam brocolli and the like as it saves me dragging the big steamer out of the cupboard, and it doe's a great job.The temperature of the frying pan is perfect for fried eggs, and I mean ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! Whites cooked but not burnt and runny yolk every time.Now for the bad. It's pretty useless for poaching eggs as by the time the egg whites are cooked, the yolk is overcooked and solid. GUTTED! Mind you, if you like solid poached eggs it's going to be perfect for you.Dead easy to wipe clean and the crumb tray just pops out with a lovely little springy action.Mixed bag really. The egg poaching is why I really bought itand it's crap for it, BUT, it's great at steaming small amounts of veg, the fried eggs are legendary, the toast from fresh or frozen is good and it's got coloured lights to make it look really Buck Rogers.I'm happy with it even though it doesn't do the one thing I bough it for! (It does other things I never thought of)

It’s so amazing. Easy to use . It can fire egg in few minutes. Value for money !

A good product, probably worth £50 (albeit at a push). Bought as a time saving way to have poached eggs in the morning, however takes about 15 mins as it would on the hob, and you aren't guaranteed runny yolks. A bit trivial, but had I known this I probably wouldn't have bought
