Camila Paris CP33/2 French Hair Side Comb Small

After trying literally so many different french combs I already gave up on finding a pair that will actually hold my hair. I have thick hair and all combs I’ve tried didn’t hold my hair and were falling out. These are amazing. They’re smaller than I expected, but do their job amazingly. The teeth are placed close together and It literally holds my hair all day and it provides that volume that I only get while wearing sunglasses on my head. Highly recommend!!!

Very nicely crafted pair of combs and much nicer than I expected at this price point. The plastic has some flexibility instead of being stiff and unwieldy, which should make them last long, and the size is excellent - not too big nor too small. The combs glide into the hair easily without catching and are very comfortable to wear.

They look nice and appear sturdy-ish so far, but they’re much smaller than expected. I wouldn’t have bought these had I known. The price is way too high for these tiny combs.

These photos are VERY misleading and fake. These combs are flimsy and cheap. The ones pictured are def NOT what I received. Paris, my foot. China for sure and even cheap for China. I am disappointed in Amazon for allowing them to sell such inferior products. We used to count on Amazon to vet their products. I think those days are over. If u want this cheap product, buy from Dollar Tree. I am sooo disgusted.

I’d never used a twist comb before trying this one, so I don’t have anything to compare it to. Still, I think it’s a solid product and works surprisingly well for thin hair with very little volume. I bought these specifically to add volume to the sides of my head by hiding them underneath the top layer of my hair (these are the perfect size for that), and they stay in place throughout the day as long as they’re really secure and I don’t do any vigorous activity. Running or jumping can cause the combs to fall out for people with thin, flat hair like mine. I actually lost one that way, which is why I bought a new pair—though I think it happened partly because the comb wasn’t perfectly secure. I imagine this would be much less of an issue if the combs were inserted into a larger section of hair, such as to secure a bun, or used in a style where they don’t need to be concealed the way I use them.

These are so beautiful and affordable, I love that they don’t feel cheap and are very easy to work with. Would definitely recommend

Love the vintage look!

I was hoping these would be really nice and high quality. They don’t feel substantial considering their price. They feel and perform exactly like the multi-packs from the drugstore for a fraction of the price.

I had a set of combs like these that I bought in Rome back in 1995. These combs actually hold my hair back and I don't have to keep adjusting them all day. They are very delicate yet sturdy.

Sidecombs really hold securely and look great -

Overall much smaller then expected in size and small spacing between teeth. Also wouldn't say it's for thick hair. Nice quality though

Beaux peignes qui tiennent bien en place, même dans les cheveux fins, s'ils sont attachés. Je ne suis pas certaine qu'ils tiendraient aussi bien dans ma chevelure défaite, mais mon but était de les utiliser en plus d'une queue de cheval, pour aplatir les frisottis/mèches retombantes. Par contre, lorsque j'ai reçu les peignes et que je les ai essayés pour la première fois, ils me tiraient les cheveux lorsque j'essayais de les enlever. En les inspectant attentivement, j'ai remarqué que certaines dents étaient comme collées ensemble par quelques petits résidus. On parle de dixièmes de millimètres mais c'est assez pour casser des cheveux. Je ne sais pas si j'ai été malchanceuse et qu'il s'agit d'un rare défaut de fabrication. J'ai réglé le problème facilement en glissant une feuille de papier sablé entre les dents, aux endroits où ça accrochait. Donc je vous les recommande quand même (au pire, vous aurez à sabler 30 secondes!). À part cela, les peignes semblent robustes et de bonne qualité. Tout doux et ne me tirent plus du tout les cheveux, je les utilise souvent et j'en rachèterais!
