Not sure what I expected but I kept hemming and hawing about buying this. I finally did and it arrived today and am already writing the review because I like it so much. This is a classy-looking rug; very modern. I live in a small place so I can't have overly busy-looking things so I tend toward the solid colored items. But I thought I'd give this a whirl and I'm so glad that I did. It's gorgeous. Nice thick shag. I have a dark blue sofa so the blue in the rug are perfect. So what I'm saying is this: If you think you might like this carpet, you probably will like it.

The pictures did not do this rug justice. It is beautiful in person, and I get lots of compliments on it. It is plush and vacuums up nicely. It was perfect to hold our furniture in place on tile floors, and looks awesome against our blue and gray couches.

This area rug is gorgeous! It arrived ver well packed. This rug is plush, the design that runs through the rug is beautiful and this rug is well made. I just bought new living room furniture in dark gray & this rug compliments it perfectly. The appearance of the rug although all one color, looks like it has lighter pieces of gray running in through it, but it is all one color. It is plush and soft to walk on & will be a conversation piece. This was a spot on choice for my new living room. You can not go wrong with this purchase. I am hoping to get the matching runners for my hallway which are currently out of stock every where. The company Safavieh is saying they will be available in August. If you need a beautiful area for any room don't miss out, this is the one!

Rug as you can see in the picture is damage. I'm 73 and rug is to big and heavy for me roll up and return. Also plastic wrapping was impossible to remove without damaging it. Very unhappy and I have also ordered another matching rug size 2.3 x 7'. Since I'm forced to keep would appreciate some type of compensation. Keep in mind have been an Amazon customer for a long while.

IMPORTANT: When you get this rug in (we bought the grey ones), it may look lighter than the pictures and the sculptures will not be as pronounced - i.e. it will not look as good as the pictures on Amazon. To make it look significantly better vacuum the rug the long way and then the short way. It is really a beautiful rug.

This area rug works well for us. It’s prettier in person than online. We worried about buying online without seeing in person but very pleased. The corners laid down good we did have to place a heavy object on them right after unrolling the rug but they stayed down. Also you’ll need a non skid liner with it. We’ve had so many compliments on it, it works well with our decor and we like the pile of it. It’s easy to vacuum.

Super soft to walk on and thick. Lots of shades of tan so looks great even when I have two dogs. Cleans up easy! Great price.

Love Love Love it. My sister did too and purchased one for herself! I have my house listed for sale and purchased it to lighten and brighten my dining room and everyone who looks at my house has commented on how much they like this rug!
