Awesome water, please start making it again!
This stuff is great. I just started drinking it before it was discontinued by the company that bought it. It seems like they discontinued it to promote sales for their other products. They say it was too costly to produce and couldn't sustain, but the number of reviews here say otherwise. A price increase would have solved the problem. People bought the remaining stock in under a month after the price doubled for the leftover inventory.Crystal Geyser, why did you do it! You lost a huge customer base. I'm not interested in your other products but I would keep buying this, and it looks like a lot of other people would too!Great water.

By far, the BEST flavored water on Earth!
I have always had a really difficult time staying hydrated by drinking plain H2O. Since I discovered this product almost a decade ago, it's all I've ever drank since then. I absolutely LOVE this water! I've tried other brands (i.e., Hint, LaCroix, etc.), and they just taste gross to me. There is no comparison to Metromint; it really is the best! Being able to buy the 12-count box at discount pricing has been a godsend (as compared to individual bottle pricing), since I go through several boxes per month.Metromint used to have a Cherrymint flavor that was my favorite, and I would mix half of that bottle with half of a Chocolatemint. Mmmmm, ChocoCherryMint! While they discontinued that particular flavor a while ago, they still continued to make Chocolatemint, Lemonmint, Orangemint, Spearmint, and Peppermint flavors. Until now, that is.Crystal Geyser (the parent company that purchased Metromint a few years ago) recently announced that they have stopped production on Metromint altogether. Noooooooo!!! I only have 10 bottles left, and don't know what I will do once they're gone. My husband has started trying to make a homemade version for me. So thoughtful, right? While his lemon-mint version is good, it tastes quite different than Metromint. It would be nice if the company would post the recipes/processes it uses to make Metromint. After all, if they're not going to produce it anymore, what does it matter?! All I can say is that I'm seriously bummed out.And to the Metromint sellers who are jacking up the prices of the last few boxes left out there... Gouging us is a seriously rotten thing to do!

) This is so sad as I have been a loyal customer since they ...
Reason for the price hike is they sold to Crystal Geyser and will no longer be making it :) This is so sad as I have been a loyal customer since they started producing it. I buy it by the case. I suffer from health issues and this has been like medicine for me to aid with all my medications and help my tummy. I hope that Crystal Geyser will take over making it and charge a reasonable price. However, at this point it looks like left over stock will be sold on Amazon who is increasing the price to make a buck. I have to day that I am a dissappointed they are doing this and not offering a discounted price because it's being discontinued.:(

Chocolatemint, my first, disappointing
Everyone's tastes are different and that's great but upon reviewer's recommendations and my own tastes, I tried the Chocolatemint. I taste very little chocolate "essence" and just a tad bit of mint. It's not that bad but it's not the chocolate flavor that I had expected. I'd like to try either the peppermint or the slightly lighter spearmint. BTW I am a huge fan of Sparking Ice carbonated flavored waters and Clear Choice/Clearly American (?) found at Wal Mart, Sams, here or at Ozbo (If you have to order in I like Ozbo, super fast shipping at one great low rate but I digress with apologies to Amazon. I have a feeling that the Chocolatemint has a taste that I could grow accustomed to but It's a tad expensive for a dozen bottles. I think I'll try spearmint, I see reviewers report that it help ease stomach problems and that would be a plus. Don't you wish there was a way we could sample these new beverages before committing to a case? I don't have access to a place that may sell bottles separately. Oh, and my delivery of this and strawberry/kiwi Sparking Ice was delivered and froze last week in the sub-zero Wisconsin temps it made a great slushy while it thawed!OK, I tried the Spearmint and I like it very much. And as anticipated the Chocolatemint is growing on me. The spearmint tastes just like Wrigley's spearmint gum, it's a very pure tasting mint, not too strong, not too light. I plan on trying Orangemint and Peppermint next. I found that the price here is the best I've seen thus far but then we don't have a warehouse store to shop so I'll continue having it delivered to my door.

Ok I know what you are thinking....but hear me out!
Ok I know what you are thinking....Chocolate mint water? Why would I wont to drink that?? Sounds nasty right??So, I originally found these on campus of the GooglePlex and thought...well it's free so why not try it!Wow not what I was expecting. These have a really well balanced, light taste which starts out with a smooth sweetness and finishes with a refreshing mint. When I say "light taste" I mean it is not like other flavored waters which taste like you melted a life savor candy in it....No this has far more flavor than that, yet does not overwhelm the refreshing sensation of drinking a well chilled glass of water.Overall, not everyone is going to like these, but on a hot summer day when I want refreshing hydration, I can't think of something better than one of these!

I love Metromint water
I love Metromint water. My all time favorite is spearmint, but chocolate mint is just like drinking an Andes mint. It's not "sweet" but it is very refreshing. By far the best "flavored water" brand on the market.Update: I've since tried both Orangemint and Lemonmint so I wanted to update. Neither my daughter nor I liked the Lemonmint. We both felt it was "essence of Pledge" instead of lemons. I know many who love it, but we did not. That said, I had read where the Orangemint tasted much like an orange ice cream. I didn't find it that way at all. It's far more palatable, but not as good as I'd hoped. I still favor the peppermint and spearmint with the chocolate mint being a close second.
