Rowenta DW1150 AccessSteam Steam Iron, 1600 Watts, Dazzling Blue

I like the shape and weight, but found the cord to be shorter than previous Rowenta irons. I really am disappointed in the top heat temps. I was a professional seamstress and design, construction and tailoring teacher. I do not do any of those any longer except for myself and immediate family but know the importance of keeping each seam ironed before the next procedure of construction. I do make and donate dozens of pioneer bonnets to a museum. These bonnets must be pressed consistently while under construction. This iron just does not get as hot as I like as I use 100% cotton fabric and need to keep every seam in line. It does not leak water as previous ones have done which is a real positive issue.

This company is our favorite iron brand. It has a great weight, presses the wrinkles out quickly, long lasting, and we love it. This is our second one in 19 years.

This iron has ruined my clothes and was purchased less than 1 year ago.

Use iron once a week. Is lightweight and presses all clothes and hand towels great!
