The Tactacam 5.0 Hunting Action Camera | Bow Package

This camera is honestly amazing. I’ve used several other brands (which I will not give names out of respect) and this is by far the most detailed and convenient. The battery life of the camera is great once fully charged. Like any camera, extra batteries are helpful. To ensure the best quality, make sure you buy a good SD card (make sure it’s 4K). Don’t make the same mistake I did, ALWAYS PRACTICE BEFORE YOU GO OUT. With the bow mount, I got into a habit of following through with my shot; however, it is necessary to continue aiming at the target (obviously). Also be sure to familiarize yourself with the camera settings, as the 5.0 has different options. Many other reviews complain that it does not have a screen (which has steered some individuals away; however I find it more convenient to have the stabilizer mount and live stream it through the app. Tactacam’s universal adapter allows ease of use with the other competitors mounts as well (listed in the picture attached). This allows more than one angle if desired. Overall the ease of use is amazing. It is a one button touch to turn on and begin recording (just make sure to update the settings right out of the box). I love this product. Buy what works. This is designed for hunting (and fishing with the head mount). Not like the competitors. Trust what you buy. The Tactacam 5.0 will not disappoint!

I’ve owned multiple GoPro’s over the years. I work in the audio visual Industry and know how to get around technical products. The GoPro has its place but after countless hours of frustration and dealing with atrocious battery life,I decided to find a replacement.I found it in the Tactacam, the easiest product for operation, very good battery life and most importantly high quality images with image stabilization, quality color, high resolution. I have now bought six or seven cameras along with the remote control for the 5.0. It’s a total winner!

I just love this little camera!!! Very simple and easy to use. One push button and immediately starts recording is not only a time saver but makes it easy to remember to hit the button and no waiting for the startup... I came from action cameras and a Canon and hated waiting for the cameras to load and then press record/ power again to start recording videos... plus the Tactacam has no sound.... I had to make sure all my cameras sound and key beeps was off... last year I got busted by my action camera loading.. I thought I had the sound off but volume wasn’t turned to 0. The Tactacam5.0 is based on vibration and 3 color modes... you can go blackout if you wanted and can even turn the vibration off. The battery slides in and out. Cap is solid and locks on by a flick of the lock switch. The camera is very lightweight. The bow stabilizer is very solid!!The camera three modes are 4K, zoom, and slo mo. The cool thing is if you’re not sure or remember which are which the back cap tells you the modes on the inside of the cap. The app is very user friendly and you can go back to rewatch your videos!! You can change your modes and video settings from 4K, 1080p, 720 through the app if you’re not wanting to record in 4K.I couldn’t be happier with this little unit... the main stand out as I mention earlier is NO SOUND/ camera noises... and that one push button..Before Tactacam The two cameras I ran, I had to press the power button 4 different times to record from both... Tactacam nope! Love that!!Also if You run multiple Tactacams 5.0??? The remote is a must have!!!! I actually run three. Two 5.0 and a 5.0 wide... the remote allows me to press one power button instead of tapping all three!!!

Absolutely amazing camera. At just one touch of the button you are recording.the video quality is just amazing. My two favorite features of the 5.0 is the WiFi capability and the slow motion mode. If you second guess a shot all you have to do is rewatch your shot right from your phone in the stand via WiFi on the camera. You’ll also have all the memories from your hunts in your mind and on video! I would highly recommend tactacam they’ve made a lifetime customer out of me.

his camera is absolutely amazing. I ordered it for my North Carolina bear hunt. I wasn't able to get any video of bears but I managed several video of deer and turkey on my hunt. The picture is amazing and the easiest operation of any camera I have ever used. I will be purchasing more in the future!!

Right out of the box, the 5.0 microphone didn't work. Instructions with unit say" do not contact retailer for problems, contact Tactacam directly. I was told to send unit to Tactacam, then was told they will replace it. The problem is, they don't have any. They say "a couple weeks from now we should have some more and be able to send you one." i've seen several reviews from people who received faulty units. Now I'm one of them. I guess I'm waiting for China to put more units on a boat. ?

I bought the tactacam 5.0 hoping that it would be a decent camera for the shotgun while out hunting. I also got the gun mount, sd card & a second battery. When I first got my hands on the actual camera it felt real light. Like if ya set it down to rough it might be junk. Anyways I decided to charge it which took 6hrs (one battery). Then I bumped it and the charging light came back on, very frustrating. Once I got the camera mounted to the gun with the recommended mount from tactacam it would not stay secure. Almost like it needed two mounts ( one towards the front & rear but there $34 a piece). So I tried to take a video and it would not save my videos, couldn't connect to my computer, or get the app to work. So I ended up returning it & spent a a hundred dollars more & got the shotkam. Which is a very nice product but it's a wee bit spendy. I do believe if the tactacam was only being used on a bow that it would be a good product. The video quality was nice & crisp if you can get it to save
