John Aird Luxury Thermal Flannelette Flat Sheets, 100% Brushed Cotton, (Pink, Single)

These sheets are absolutely fine. I’ve washed them many times on a 90 degree wash, & they don’t bobble. I think most reviewers stating you can (shock horror) see through the fabric are failing to grasp that a) you can see through most fabrics if you hold them up to the light, and b) these aren’t advertised as heavy duty, ultra posh, Plaza Hotel, first class magically thick sheets.Ok, so ‘thermal’ is a bit of an overstatement, but they’re perfectly ok for most of us who want a brushed cotton sheet that’s soft, comfy, & does what it needs to. Would buy again.

Received very quickly. Reason for purchase was to use this as a top sheet; we have moved away from quilts, back to sheets and blankets, so as to gain more control over temperature and comfort - we have a cold bedroom, so it is not an issue with a hot bedroom. This large sheet fits our super-king perfectly. Sheet is warm to the touch and comfortable. We have two blankets (could add others as needed) over the top of this to provide two more layers. This works perfectly for us down to low single-figure temperatures, and is much more comfortable than a quilt, which seem to be far too hot, even at 1 tog plus a bedspread. This seems to allow maintenance of a consistent temperature. Have ordered another one of these immediately. Exellent price. All this said, we cannot provide any feedback on longevity, as we haven't had it long enough - but at this price, if it lasts a year, that will be fine. Probably wouldn't like this a bottom sheet, as we prefer smooth-to-the-touch sheets.

These sheets look good and are 100% cotton.The weave used makes the sheet appear more like a closely woven cellular blanket than a classic flannelette sheet, which I think explains some reviewers' comments about them appear thin or "tea bag" like. I'm guessing it'll be effective at trapping a layer of air and being cosy, and may update during winter when I can confirm or deny this!I'm a little concerned about the amount of loose lint straight out of the pack. I may update with the results of the first wash or with any experience of excessive bobbling, so the rating may go down from its current 4 stars if I'm disappointed.

We have bought a similar sheet before from this vendor and were happy with it so had no hesitation in buying another when we needed it.

Washed to put away for when it gets cooler.. so soft and warm feeling... buy again some diff colours

Lovely soft sheet. I washed it before use to rid it of any excess fluff and dye.I have since washed it again and it has not bobbled up at all.It does look a bit like a "teabag" when held up to the light as others have said but is nice and warm.I'm using it as a top sheet under a duvet on a double bed so it has plenty of overhang being a king size.

Sadly the Colour was Not the same as the Charcoal fitted sheet so does not match & that’s sad & I would say the quality is also not as high standard .. but colour match is the main thing . .

I love these sheets so much I've ordered various sizes ,the best thing I love about them is that they do not bubble which is a major problem I find with other sheets I brought from other companies. There also so soft and cosy.grat value for money
