Below is a copy of an email response to my question about if this product contained synthetic A and D. "Good afternoon,Thank you for your inquiry in regards to the Cod Liver oil product.Thank you for your inquiry. The Vitamin A used in the Vitamin Shoppe Cod Liver Oil is from retinyl palmitate. The Vitamin D is from cholcalciferol. They are both synthetic in nature." 1/8/2020
