Perfect replacement
Old fan was dying on my 10 year old laptop. This one dropped right in (once I disassembled the entire stinkin' computer). It's extremely quiet, so much so that I had to put my hand next to the vent to confirm it was working.

This replacement can fixed my aging laptop with noisy fan and made it quite again. I would recommend letting an experienced person replace since you have to completely disassemble laptop to replace.
