Lightweight bordering on flimsy. The bottom seems a bit thin for everyday use and the sides are made of the same thin wood. The trays are hammered together with tiny nails which, combined with the thin wood probably does not make for a very durable product. This is probably why two of the three trays were delivered with broken handles. For nearly $10 per tray it is hard to really complain about the quality since you get that for which you pay. I will return the product and find something that better fits my needs.

I needed some trays to place on a new tufted ottoman we are about to start using as a coffee table. Obviously, if you want to place anything on it, you need a flat surface, and serving trays seem to be the answer. This had the right look we wanted, so we ordered them. When they arrived, they were actually smaller than I thought they'd be. Not their fault, the description does give the dimensions. They just looked small when placed on an ottoman that's 48" x 28", but will still serve the purpose. They are nice looking, but definitely not a heavy duty tray. What was missing was a sealer on the wood. If you put anything on here that was wet or going to sweat (glass of ice water), the wood would definitely soak up any moisture, eventually making this worthless. These sell for $29.99, not expensive, but not the cheapest either. For that price, I think they should be sealed against water damage. It doesn't take much to dip the wood pieces in a vat of acrylic sealer before assembly. I realize it's an added cost, but I would gladly pay another$5 for them to arrive that way. I had some Minwax sealer, so applied it before before we start using them. Other than that, these are nice looking serving trays.

Love this item but the way we use it I must say that the paint/finish come off once it’s wiped down. I have an ottoman instead of a coffee table so I purchased this item to put on the ottoman so we have something sturdy to put our items on if we need too. My husband will put his drinks on it and when it sweats the drink leaves a wet spot, so when I try to wipe it up it takes the finish right off the tray. So it makes it a different color. My only thing I would change would be I believe they should have sealed the trays after painting so the finish doesn’t wipe off with a wet rag.

I love these trays. I’m using the medium size on my ottoman. They are definitely lightweight. Not sure I would use them to carry anything heavy. But they work great on a surface to corral things.

I’ve been looking for the perfect tray to decorate with. I’ve found it. These are lightweight and so pretty. I want one in every room. The color is a dusty gray and very easy to style. Highly recommend.

I like to keep decorative trays on my ottoman to hold things or make a flatter surface for drinks. These are the perfect trays & the gray matches my decor so well.

These look great and are exactly what I was hoping for. Also very lightweight not super heavy or chunky. The color is like a rustic grey. I have rustic grey and Taupe colored furniture so it matches great. I originally thought it might be more of a taupe color but it's actually grey so it still worked out.

My wife and I purchased a larger version of these lap tables and were happy to find smaller ones. I noticed that they feel rough and you can get splinters pretty easy, and they also don't feel very durable.
