Hexbug AquaBot Jellyfish, Orange

This little gadget has the action of a live goldfish, and is very entertaining for all ages (my 7 year old nephew and my husband both get a big kick out of it). No need to clean a tank, or worry about the feeding or the inevitable demise of a live goldfish. It's just silly fun.It might be nice if it had an on/off switch so that you could let it run as long as you want, but the engineering of a five minute "show" is pretty smart in terms of extending battery life.

This was the most clever, coolest little bath toy I've ever seen! Until my 2 yr old pulled the tail off and it doesn't work anymore. The tail can easily be popped off and popped back on, so I don't know if that's what caused the failure, but the little mechanism inside (which you can see!) just stopped working. :( So this is a very short term investment if you buy it for a child who's going to pull at it, but who knows how long it might have lasted otherwise! Very clever. It doesn't dive, I have seen some reviews indicating that it could or should, but it just swims when it hits water, it has a water activated mechanism like those bath thermometers, where the electricity only works with water contact.

He seems happy with it. He has several others, only a few in this series. We haven't much in a report ferom him.

My niece loves it, I bought the extra batteries to go with it too, because I know she will wear it out.

Grandson enjoyed the Hexbug. The hexabot aquabot - orange was as expected. No problems with the this toy. That's all.

Since this fish does not stay on with movement more than five minutes at a time it was not the relaxation that real fish offer. I had them turned on about four time total 20 minutes, but after that they no longer work or moved at all. I bought two at the same time and neither one works. They were expensive too.Beside that, they did not move in a fishy way and made noise.

It was deliver way sooner than expected and my two year old son loves it! We have only had it a couple of weeks but it swims great!

This fish never swam because it never worked it!!!! I was very up set about this item it never worked!!
