Simply superb.
This frontier is a very reliable pen and is just so amazing. It writes so evenly; no scratching at all. The ink flow is ultra even. All fine nibs of Parker pens are not exactly fine, but somewhat medium, but I like this nib size a lot, as it delivers a butter smooth writing experience. It also has a smooth rubber grip which makes writing, more comfortable. I am using a standard Parker fountain pen converter in my Frontier. I recommend the Frontier with Stainless Steel barrel, as it has a very classic appearance. Finally, Parker Frontier is an amazing pen..!!!

Best PEN EVER
I love this pen. Its absolutely perfect its very fine and detailed. Its very easy to read and just the right amount of ink put on to the paper. So its clear and absolutely no fading. Best pen ever better then a german pen. I own 10+ pen's from everywhere. Mont Blanc, Pelikan, Faber-castell, and much more. I have a range from pure german pens to china made pens. This pen is by far the best mid-price pen i have every bought and since.

Save your money
Even after reading the reviews, I bought the pen. It was marked as Prime so I was certain I would receive it in a reasonable amount of time. It took over a month. The tin that it comes in was dented, so no gift giving there. I had ordered Parker cartridges, and the pen won't write. I have tried trouble shooting everything, but alas, a waste of money. I have asked to return it for a refund. We'll see what happens there.

Good Pen But Beware Micro Packing Peanuts From 3rd-Party Seller!
The pen is great for the price. A great starter pen, or for carrying-around everyday use.My only complaint is with the sometime confusion created by Amazon when having multiple sellers selling through one item page. To wit: my particular pen was sold by Greateasterndeals, and there were some issues. The item description implies that this pen ships with ink cartridges ["Can also be refilled with a Parker Converter ( Not Included)"]. Mine came with a converter. This could have been a positive for me, as I was planning on buying a converter, anyway, BUT, the converter it came with was the cheapest Parker converter, which I will need to replace with the better one. [So, really, no windfall, no foul on that]. But I was counting on trying the pen with the implied included cartridge so that I could see how it writes, before deciding what to do as far as ink and converters, etc.Not a huge deal, but but definitely an inconvenience for someone who is new to fountain pens and who thus doesn't have all the accouterments on hand. But the main issue issue with this particular seller is that the pen arrived in an envelope loaded with BB-sized PACKING PEANUTS! Everyone hates packing peanuts! They make a mess, and are hard to clean up. Micro peanuts are even worse! As soon as I saw that there were peanuts, I took the package outside to the garbage can to open the rest of the way- and of course, it still made quite a mess. But sheesh! Who uses packing peanuts in this day and age? Especially for a pen? Put it in a bubble mailer, and voila!Other than those issues though, my experience with Greateasterndeals was O-K; and again, for 10 clams, this is a nice starter/utility fountain pen. Personally though, I will never do business with sellers who use packing peanuts.Four stars for the pen.2 stars for Greateasterndeals.

Write with style (again!)
When I was in college, 40 years ago, I tended to use a fountain pen (with ink cartridges). As years passed it became harder to find replacements, so I shifted to ballpoint pens. With the advent of the computer-as-typewriter I handwrite even less.About 10 years ago I tried a few Parker pens, but soon ran into the replacement cartridge issue again. About a year back I bought a nice Shaffer fountain pen and a large supply of cartridges. The only problem was that if I didn’t write with them daily, the nibs dried out and within a day or two of that the cartridge itself was dried. I will add that this may have been the only Shaffer pen that couldn’t be used with a converter. So I bought this Parker with a medium nib, (and a second plastic model with a fine point nib), two bottles of ink and a couple of packs of cartridges. But starting down the path of manual refills, I fully expected to be disappointed, but that hasn’t been the case. Using a converter is easy and largely clean (though I now keep a bar of Lava soap in a travel container for the occasional sloppy refill) and I have yet to open the cartridges. The only time either pen has stopped writing is when the ink ran out. Neither pen has failed for lack of use, either. I recently went on a business trip and left one at home, and 8 days later, it worked first time I tried it. I even have this crazy ure to resume writing longhand letters!I am glad I made the purchase.

Give this a miss unless u need to have a frontier in ur parker collection
SAD.Nothing wrong with the seller. In fact seller is perfectly fine and ok. Just the Quality of the penUsed to own 1 but gave away to my firend's daughter.Saw some good offers on Amazon and decide to grab 1.First, unlike my previous one. This is made in India and no longer in UK/France. My previous one is made in UK.Tipping uneven. Tines too wide. Long and short tine.Attempt to repair all the mentioned using my dremel buffing tool. Almost made it. But the final part before I fix the tine gap. The nib bent crooked. Maybe too much force on my side. But hey. I repaired alot of my old parkers and some modern pilot pens before. This is the first time I came across nib material this soft from parker. This is not even a 18k gold nib. Just a SS nib. Even a cheap pilot metropolitan have better nib material than this. The 2 star I gave is. The Cap, barrel and forward grib section is decently made. Not too exceptionally made. but not too shabby. the 3 star gone needless to say. The nib is the soul of a fountain pen.Even a made in india Chelpark nib is better quality than this nib.

Great Pen
This pen is amazing. It writes smooth and consistent, absolutely no skipping. I love it.Was not a real fine point though, more like a medium, I was trying to get a new fine point fountain pen to replace one that is getting wear and tear from over use, now will have to order another, but am not unhappy with the purchase. It is a great pen.

It's a Parker Fountain Pen under $30!
For a fountain pen by Parker under $30 I wasn't expecting to much. But with this Frontier I am pleasantly surprised. The fine nib is a good choice and it writes well on Rhodia and Clairefontaine paper. Maybe a little broader by comparison to my Senior Duofold and Parker 45, but for an everyday writer, it's more than acceptable. If you're new to fountains pens or just want to give one a try without parting with lots of cash, the Frontier is a good place to start. Comes in a great metal case and a blue cartridge. That's a bargain.
