Q: could anybody explain me how I would install that strap via original mask connections?

This strap is more or less standard but potential problems occur because many masks and fins attachments vary with brands and models. If this happens, I just fiddle around with the straps until I figure out a secure way to attach the strap to a mask (or fins as the case may be). If that doesn't work, you'll have to match the brand and model of your mask to another strap dedicated to your brand/model..

Q: Do the loose ends of the strap exit out the front of the buckles (towards the mask window), or out the back (towards the back of the head)?

The loose ends can be tucked backwards but only after the neoprene mask strap tension has been adjusted.
