Dried seaweed
Excellent dried seaweed. Soak, in warm water, for 7 minutes, to produce seaweed ribbons, for miso soup, or other multiple cooking options.

Little bit goes a long way!
Ordered because my local grocers don’t carry it (or are always out when I shop) and I’ve been getting into miso soup. I use 1/16 cup per 4-6 cup batch of soup, and the family thinks that’s the best ratio. I do crumble the dried wakame a bit to ensure the rehydrated pieces are a bit smaller, but this is a great value and I’m expecting my 2 bags to last for months. I am also taking the California warning label with a grain of salt (and a margarita along with it) as CA is, if I recall, the reason bottled water must have an expiration date.

Very good way to add that distinctive seaweed taste and texture to meals
After a trip where I tried a seaweed salad made right, I had to make my own. Living in the Midwest, we don't have a ready supply of seaweed, so I gave this one a try. It comes as advertised, and there is plenty per pack. I do recommend that you give it a little extra time to reconstitute, it will develop a better texture. One pack easily made four good portions for salad. I have also used this in making a more full bodied Miso soup. All in all I recommend the Wel-PAC furor wakame.

This contains lead,cadmium, chemicals
I got this thinking I was getting something healthy. Found out it was from China and It has lead cadmium, Arsenic, Cadmium right on the package. I am discussed with our nation to feed us food like this. I want my money back. Lead in Seaweed and Seafood Products. In 2019, plaintiff groups issued over three dozen Prop. 65 Notices for cadmium in seaweed and various dietary supplements. In January 2020 alone, plaintiffs issued 14 Notices for various seaweed and seafood products including dried seaweed, dried shrimp, dried anchovies, and canned squid. These Notices alleged that seaweed and seafood contain arsenic, cadmium and/or lead (and related compounds) and therefore require a Prop. 65 warning. I want my money back and you can sent this to WHO and the government.

Delicious seaweed
It's tricky to find in my area so I was glad to see it here. It arrived quickly and is a good quality product, nice and clean. I find it delicious.
