Works great easy to use

Wonderful, no notes.

This thing is a joke, and a potentially dangerous one, at that. It arrived just today, and out of the box, it appeared mis-assembled. The handle wasn't fully screwed in, so the rest of the components that are kept in place by the handle had shifted and were misaligned. In order to line everything back up, I had to backthe handle out a little further so the other parts could be re-aligned. This is when it could have caused an injury, as the spring-loaded ice cream release "trigger" went flying. Fortunately, there was no one anywhere nearby and it just hit a kitchen cabinet. I was able to reassemble the scoop and, after washing and drying it, I tried dishing out some ice cream. The ice cream was pretty firm, and the scoop had real difficulty digging it out. It felt like it was going to bend. The usual hot water warm-up of the scoop made no difference, since the scoop material is so thin, there isn't enough mass to hold any heat for more than a few seconds. I don't see this scoop lasting very long (or remaining reliably and safely assembled from use to use), so I'm returning it. My advice would be to steer clear.

Very good but simply too big for meatballs and that's its primary use around my kitchen...

This 4-ounce scoop has quickly become one of my favorite kitchen tools. It’s the perfect size—not just for ice cream, but also for cookie dough, batter, and other foods where you want consistent portions. The handle fits nicely in my hand, making it comfortable and easy to use, even when scooping harder ice cream. It’s lightweight but still feels sturdy, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much it can hold in one scoop. Overall, a great, versatile tool that makes serving and portioning so much easier!

I’m very happy with our new ice cream scoop. It’s larger than my old one. That was unexpected, but I’m very happy that it is larger.

This ice cream scooper is awesome. I’m looking forward to using it very much. It should be much easier to use than some other things. I have been using that are not ice cream scoopers so I’m very excited for this.
