Great price for Moog part
Fit my 03 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7

Good quality however be careful with the Grease fitting
One worked perfectly however when I did the other one the grease fitting snapped off inside the unit so it needs replaced. Just be careful because the grease fitting is not very strong and will snap if just barely over tightened.

MOOG is epic
Fast delivery. I ordered 2, first one was great and looked brand new. Second one was outside of the box but still inside packaging and looked slightly used but it might’ve just got banged up in delivery. Either way it’s MOOG so it’s gonna work great 10/10

Great on '03 Dodge Ram 1500, SLT, 2WD
Great for 03 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT, 2WD. Has a grease fitting, which is great.Hardest part was getting the steering knuckle off the old ball joint (use a 5 lb sledge hammer and beat on the steering knuckle to "shock/jar" the old one out). Pickle forks were worthless.I used the Astro 7897 kit for removing the old one and installing this one, but had to make the following mod to get the old ball joint out. The 03 DR 1500 doesn't have hardly any clearance on the ball joint attachment ledge on the bottom so you can't get a cup to fit without it riding up the side of the ledge. So, I used a dremel cutting tool to slice off a few 1/2" long pieces of the old ball joint lip so that I created some room for the receiving cup to sit on the ledge, and that worked well. I used the OTC 6736 clamp and OTC 6730 clamp adapter, but I supect the Astro 7897 clamp would have worked fine. Also, don't buy the OTC 7894 Dodge/Jeep kit for two reasons. It won't work on my year/make/model, and also the Astro 7897 kit has the EXACT same pieces, plus a whole lot more.

Perfect fit for 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab 3.7L
As others have stated, these are a royal pain to remove. There is no such thing as "popping them out". You'll need a ball joint press, so if you do not own one, then rent from The Zone or your auto parts supplier of choice. Chisel the retaining ring first, then using the ball joint press, remove the ball joint by pressing downward. It will be a very slow and painful process, but they will eventually turn loose. The Moog ball joints are splined to ensure a proper bite in the lower control arm. While installing, ensure the boot grease weep hole is turned towards the engine. This prevents your catastrophic demise due to grease contact with the brake rotors. Also be sure to not damage the boots during installation. Note: Unlike other reviewers, the boots were attached securely to the ball joints. Finally: I noticed some comments and online videos indicating to grind the four large rivets from the lower control arm. STOP! Why anyone would do that when the old/new ones can be pressed out/in is beyond me. I am not sure where that bit of misinformation originated, but disregard it completely!Buy Moog and do it once! I hope this helps.

Well worth the cost and effort ... saved $$$$$$
A local "stealership" wanted over $2K to change upper and lower ball joints along with inner and outer tie rod ends on my girlfriend's 2007 Dodge Ram with 130K on the odometer and original suspension parts. We did it ourselves in a day for around $265 in parts. It was more work removing the factory ball joints than installing the new MOOG parts but it went well. I like the grease fittings that come with the MOOG parts and if the truck runs another 100K before needing replacements then I'll be a very pleased. I have an OTC ball joint installation tool that I bought from Amazon a few years ago that worked quite well but I had to use a cut off wheel to remove most of the "stud" on the factory ball joints to get enough clearance inside the tool. A torque wrench is a must for this job too along with a large socket for the nut that secures the axles to the knuckle/wheel bearing.

Fit perfectly
Fit perfectly for 2011 ram 1500 Laramie. I would suggest I borrow O’Reilly ball joint kit removal and it didn’t work due to the size. Advance Auto part kit did.

Good greaseable ball joint
Good greasable ball joint. All bits supplied. (Check first where grease will come out and which direction grease nipple will face before fitting)
