Great Product Super Easy Install
I had a GE brand (made by Jasco) smart ceiling fan switch that failed after many years and many power outages. Went to the box stores and couldn’t find a zwave smart ceiling fan switch that met my needs. So I went on Amazon searched and found this which was a newer version of what I had. The installation was fool proof. Insert the copper wires into the proper hole in the back and tighten with a Philips head screwdriver. Wish all switches and outlets were this easy and secure. Then hooked it up to my smart hub and was back in business with ceiling fan and being able to control it through my phone and Alexa. Total time was less than 10 minutes to replace and setup. Great product and design !

Haven't had any problems. Yet.
I have two of these, and I just purchased three more. I've had one of them for about three years. None have failed. I also have numerous other Jasco Z-Wave light switches and dimmers. I have only had 1 fail in about five years. I think that might be because of a power spike. Jasco switches are of good quality construction and generally pair easily and play well with my OpenHAB Server.

Worked as advertised
I have Enbrighten Z-Wave light switches controlling literally every light in my house. We have a large fan hanging from our vaulted living room ceiling and that was the only "dumb" switch I had left. So I was pleased to find this. I had to experiment as to which wire from the old controller went where on the new switch, but eventually figured it out without burning the house down. Since I have all of my Z-Wave switches integrated with Alexia via a SmartThings hub, I can now easily voice or app control the fan and it has worked perfectly since installation.

Does not control speed
I honestly don't understand what is wrong with this device but I'll be staying away from enbrighten from now on. It cannot control the fan speed properly. It stays stuck at maximum speed almost all the time. Eventually after like 5 minutes the fan finally slowed down one time. It's wired and installed correctly, I replaced an older zwave switch so the wiring was exactly the same. I've factory reset this switch and tried using it as a "dumb" switch without a hub and it still doesn't work. The LED cycles through 4 colors for the 4 speeds but the fan itself never changes.

Great IoT products
Jasco products are great, and their IoT devices are the best bar none. They were early developers for the IoT industry -- and no I don't work for Jasco. The only negative reviews I saw were related to speed and fan control, which likely has nothing to do with switch but is more likely related to fan itself or flaky IoT hub. I have 3 of the devices (plan to buy 3 more) and I can say with 100% certainty that all 3 fans have the same force, rotation function present that they had via the manual switch, same velocity and with no problem with connections/control via my Smart Things hub. So I attribute those "negative" reviews to home or fan environmental issues. These are and have been for me great products.
