Jagwire Ripcord Mountain Bike Gear Cable Kit

I've used these on a number of occasions now - both on myown bike, and as an upgrade on the kids Isla bikes. On the kids bikes, it was to try to make the change easier - they both struggled with the grip shift being stiff. This cable made the difference between my daughter needing both hands to twist the gears (and just managing) to bein able to do it with one hand. Combining this with a change to a trigger shift made it even easier. Fitted to my own bike after I saw how much difference it made to the daughters - and no regrets there either.....

I didn't fit these or cut them, but the bike mechanic who did said they were easy to work with and very good quality. Came with all the fixings required, with extras. Work fine on the bike, reduced friction over the stock cables. Been on the bike two and a bit years now, and still no problems with them, Sorry I can't be more helpful.

Really well made.You're given plenty of cable ends/hoods. Should work in combination on most bikes.Immediately feels smoother changing gear from stock gear cables, because these cables are teflon coated. Metal and rubber pieces all feel very well built.Good length too, so my cables now stick out the front to avoid rubbing on the frame.I will definitely buy these again if I need any.

As usual with Jagwire, premium quality cabling with everything you need to fit.I have the Titaniun version which is as you see in the photos - lovely titanium grey silver and i fit it on my Raleigh RSP Ti (Nottingham made Special Products Division) MTB and the cabling looks sweet. High quality and cables move like silk !

Nice cable, plenty of colour options. Much better at keeping out water than my old Goodridge cables.Good amount of ferrules and guides included.Slightly pricey though for cables.
