Well Worth It
I didn't know what I needed but the internet told me to get some kind of a dust collector to save the shop vacuum filter from clogging up. I used this along with a 5hp vacuum most of the weekend and I was very happy with the results. The bucket was FULL of saw dust and the vacuum itself was practically empty. This did an amazing job separating the sawdust. Very happy with my purchase.

Excellent - will save you a ton of money in filters
Shop Vac Savior - this thing works so well it's crazy how many filters this would have saved. Does need a heavy-duty bucket, I've been using an old oil bucket I had sitting around. Fits any standard five-gallon bucket but Home Depot, Lowes and Harbor Freight buckets just are not sturdy enough (I have not tried the doubling up of buckets method yet though). Great investment for your shop! Currently mine is attached to my CNC machine but easily moved around and used for all my tools. Comes with everything needed to connect to a 2inch shop vac, purchased an adaptor kit for my smaller vacs and I was dust free in minutes, again, while saving my filters! When you empty the bucket, a little blast of air and it is clean again ready for use.

A great addition to my workshop
For many years I have been a regular reader of the American magazine Fine Woodworking, I particularly enjoy their annual Tools & Shops issue. In this yearโs issue I saw an article on the Dustopper Pro and wanted to buy one. I was very pleased to find that I could purchase a Dustopper Pro from the USA via Amazon Prime without having to pay delivery charges. It arrived quickly and in very sturdy packaging. It is very well made and the instructions for using it were very clear and easy to understand. My only problem was finding a 5 US gallon bucket in the UK! Many 5 gallon buckets on sale here 25 litre buckets and the Dustopper Pro does not fit them. Then I discovered that Screwfix sell a Marshalltown 5 gallon bucket, made in the USA, which is a perfect fit for the Dustopper Pro. I am very happy with my purchase as emptying the bucket is so much easier than emptying either of my two workshop vacuum cleaners.
