BRIGHTFOCAL New Screen Replacement for ASUS C202 C202S C202SA Chromebook 11.6" WXGA HD LED LCD Screen Display

My child had a broken screen on an Asus Chromebook. Bought this replacement screen and watched a youtube video on replacing it and literally 4 minutes later had the broken screen out the new one in and the chromebook up and running fully functional again. Great product with no dead spots in the screen nor lines.The youtube search I did was "ASUS Chromebook C202 Screen Replacement Procedure" in case anyone else needs it. I would link to the video but I am not sure in Amazon allows that. Super easy to follow the instructions.

Decent replacement for any laptop using an AU Optronics AUO235C panel (model number of my original screen is B116XTN02.3) such as my ASUS L210 (aka E210 aka Vivobook 12 aka lots of other names for some reason)--assuming your laptop has the same placement for the tabs which get screwed onto the frame (take out your old panel and compare to the photos in the listing). This is glossy instead of matte like my original, but $20 cheaper than Brightfocal's official replacement for the L210, so I overrode my normal preference for matte panels.Looks brighter and more vibrant than my original, but that's just due to it being glossy and not matte. Unfortunately viewing angles seem to be even worse than the original panel which was already pretty terrible; I'm not sure if that's because this is a generic, low-cost panel or for some other reason. And of course, no TN panel will have great viewing angles.Overall, a decent, cheap replacement for this panel size and resolution--and honestly, it's not worth paying any more than this to replace the screen on the inevitably low-end laptops that use 11.6" 1366x768 TN non-touchscreen panels. In fact, it probably usually makes sense to replace the laptop instead but it's nice to keep things in use and repair rather than replace, even if it doesn't always make sense from a pure dollars-and-cents perspective.

Along with the YouTube video that someone else posted to their review, this was very simple to install. My husband had the screen replaced in just a few minutes. The only other thing I purchased along with this screen, was an X-Acto (craft knife) to aid in the removal/install of the new screen. Just so everyone knows, or soon had thrown his cell phone at the old screen of his Chromebook when he got frustrated from doing his virtual student homework...🤫All is well now. We highly recommend this product! 🤗

Screen worked for a day and never powered back on. Tried it on 2 different C202SA Chromebooks without success.

My teenage son's Chromebook got tossed on the floor and stepped on which shot the LCD screen. We ordered this replacement and it arrived quickly. Installation was so easy that my teenager did it himself in 15 minutes with minor adult supervision. If your Chromebook screen is out, don't toss your laptop, get this replacement screen and you'll be back up and running in no time.

It arrived quickly and I was able to install it in about 10 minutes and it looks great! Needed a small Phillips head screwdriver and a steady hand. The hardest bit was making sure the connector was seated all the way in as its very small. Power up the device without the bezel back on to check the screen is working first.

My kid broke the chromebook screen and used this one to replace it. Only the LCD got damaged, so used this one to replace it.Very easy to install. An eyeglass repair kit should suffice. The entire replacement took about 10 mins and it works well.Way better than a $250 repair.
