Spicy and delicious!
Spicy and delicious! Sometimes the heat is a little too much so I am going to buy the plain ones and add seasoning myself. I can usually handle spicy food. These are right at my limit. I've purchased these 3 times and will probably purchase again.

used to be better
Haldiram's used to be the only brand of namkeen that didn't use palm oil, so we have been buying these for a long time. They recently went through a rebranding and with that, started to use palm oil as well. So it's a little disappointing. These are still really good boondi, and the palm oil is part of a mix of other oils. I'm not sure whether I'll end up buying these again as a consequence. Pre-palm oil these used to be lighter and less greasy, they didn't leave behind a greasy paste on your hand after you finished eating them. They are still not as bad on that front as other brands, but they're definitely heavier and harder to enjoy than before.
